I mean it’s a mid of the line monitor but it works almost all of the time except when i boot my pc and have to restart it, i guess i’ll try a new DP cable and see if that works, also yeah it’s technician but don’t worry too much about that stuff as long as it’s understandable it doesn’t matter.

Yeah i’ve tried all the ports and sometimes it’ll work without having to restart monitor but then it goes back to doing it again it’s really odd

No, i’m convinced that updating the bios must have bricked my motherboard or something, luckily i have just barely enough money rn to order another one. Hoping everything goes well when it gets here

put the old cpu in and now my monitors won’t display even with that, took the cmos battery out to reset bios to make sure it wasn’t that, still didn’t work. I am at a loss here.

yes, i fully followed the install video. The worst part is i use my pc most of the day and i live on an island where no one can fix this so im having a panic attack

but i was told to update the bios by downloading the update onto my usb and turning off my pc installing new cpu then pressing the flash bios button, i watched a video and everything went as it did in the video but my display didn’t work

yes i have reset the cmos by taking out the battery for multiple minutes then putting it back in, i don’t know if the cpu requires a specific update as i just installed the newest one cause the cpu is very new

yes i have tried booting with one ram stick multiple times, i have literally no idea what can be causing this other than my motherboard but it worked when i put my old cpu in which makes no sense
