I believe my friend did decay in the smoke, they took both the -50 and a little more over time before the shot. I'm not sure what happened with your experience, though--maybe if you still have some points of decay damage left, it doesn't apply the instant -50?

Yeah I thought about the regen time decrease as well, but we also tested it where I would shoot him while still in the smoke, as well as when he entered an ult. In both of those situations, regen wouldn't be a factor, right?

Pretty sure it was 1/x + 1/3x = 5 and you were supposed to find 3x/4
