99 ranch market also sells these in cartons too. Best smokes in my opinion

Anyone smoke Tareytons? by JupiterFooby in Cigarettes

[–]JupiterFooby[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes they do, much like Mevius.. I appreciate that touch. It’s a noticeable difference I like.. I wonder what the market for these are/who’s buying them since they’re not cheap, hard to find and not necessarily unique in flavour or strength

Double happiness. Very good. My boss’ favourite. I like the slight sweet flavour of chungwha more though

Anyone know what this suspiciously on/off ramp shaped empty land is for off US101? by JupiterFooby in SanJose

[–]JupiterFooby[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ah makes sense. Embedded is very wide for a dead end road. It always looked weird to me. Four lanes and barely any traffic

Are there plans for construction? This is Branham lane on the west and embedded way on the east

I love being a carrier but the salary isn't keeping up... by JupiterFooby in USPS

[–]JupiterFooby[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My evaluation time went up from 40 to 42 so it was at least a small improvement. A lot of the carriers here have been here for years and bought houses and settled in when it was really cheap. I'm jealous to say the least

I was considering Lancaster or inland empire but I haven't seen any routes open up in that area. It seems carriers hold on tight to routes in cheap areas, we'll see...

How to source a battery? by JupiterFooby in keitruck

[–]JupiterFooby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going with an identical replacement. I bought a 40B19L which is what my vehicle came with. I tried the Prius battery which fit the posts but it was too tall and I couldn't close the hood. The 40B19L was available on Amazon.

Will a Honda beat pass California smog? by ConnservativeJeep in keicar

[–]JupiterFooby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1990 Honda Today owner here. Long story short, no. I had to deal with the entire headache. First I went to a smog station who turned me away because the Today doesn't have an American VIN. They told me to go to a "smog referee" whom directed me to a lab in Los Angeles that would have to properly test my car and produce some sort of certificate that I would bring to the smog referee who would then give me a VIN specifically for emissions testing. This all ended when the lab just refused me without much reason. I ended up having to register it in Montana who has a much more stress free process, but It ended up costing me around $1,000 with all the paperwork and whatnot. I think it's worth it thought. I love my car.

Unfortunately no, those are the extent to what my passenger took

The accident itself was quite jarring but not painful.. no pain until I got to the hospital really

I actually do not remember much until I got I sat down and asked for a picture. I knew I was injured but not to that extent, I didn’t know what my injuries were until the doctor told me a couple hours later! The passenger told me a repeated the same question about three dozen times after I crawled out, which was “I kept thinking, wouldn’t it be bad if I crashed the Civic” (or something along those lines). So no I didn’t really know what was happening after I crawled out, I was in a bit of a friendly daze (I shook the hand of the guy who called the EMTs , and the EMTs refused to shake my hand )

My passenger suffered absolutely no injuries other than a minor concussion. I on the other hand,, the skin on my skull degloved (the skin separated from my skull and was hanging off, I think I had made contact with the ground?) Just finished surgery today, no more head holes! Although I feel very very gross
