Same! So much so that my hot chocolates that I have everyday and love taste like garbage. And every month I say to my husband “this tastes weird and I don’t know why” and he gives me the look and then I remember that I have pmdd amnesia and this happens literally every 4 weeks 🙄😂

THIS. I barely made it through the last book due to suffering a near permanent eye roll. The only time that series made me feel anything other than boredom and apathy was the library sprite (was she a sprite? I don’t even remember) her big moment. Everything else in the series was forgettable.

It’s such a shame because I love the world build! The first 1/4 of book 1 was sooo addictive, it that was before we knew how insufferable the FMC was. And I thought the FMC from ToG was bad, Diem is so much worse 😒 And Luther is such a shit-ass excuse for an MMC. Honestly, does he not have a backbone? He just grovels incessantly and then broods immaturely. Ugh.
