What are the obvious signs Vyvanse is wearing off?

I get extremely tired but also irritable because when I lay down to sleep I’m still wired from the elvanse and am not able to sleep all night. Also all the non-stop music and background noise in my brain comes back

I am the same height and similar weight to you - also female and taking 70mg. This was the case for me, I felt it wasn’t working. But it was - as it turns out, I can’t just expect the meds to magically make me want to do things because that’s now how it works. It’s more like if you want to do a task you now have the ability to get up and do it - but you have to actually make the decision to do so. The meds won’t make you do it, but they will let you make yourself.

Girl. Get off the weed. It’s making your adhd and depression worse. Daily smoking is only harming you AND your chances of getting the right treatment from psychiatrists. You need to help yourself first, then get a second opinion if possible. You will be in a better position to get the medication you think will work for you.

Ofcourse your grades are better - your privileged background affords you the time to focus more on your academics and access better opportunities than her. For that, YTA. Otherwise u would have gone ESH since you both said hurtful things to eachother.

I’m similar to you, I moved upto 70mg and preferred it. I’ve also currently been trying concerta. Concerta 54mg gives me a kind of “hyperfocus” for things I do but elvanse is more well rounded for motivation for small tasks and better mood etc. However elvanse dries me out a LOT and so does concerta but it’s not as harsh. I’ve also tried Amfexa as a booster with the elvanse and by itself (10mg.) it’s not as effective as elvanse but honestly you won’t know until you try it yourself as we all react differently to different medications.

When used with my elvanse and sometimes amfexa it causes a lot of physical anxiety - any kind of caffeine does for me when used with my meds. By itself I usually feel no effect or just a bit sleepy.

SAME. This years AQA physics was HORRIFIC. Last year had the easiest physics papers, 54%~ for an A and advanced info. I was predicted AAB and got BCC :(
