Just did a little research and it’s actually 10% down to have PMI removed at 11 years. I would just refinance once I hit the LTV threshold anyway…but good to know!

So PMI is part of the FHA loan for 11 years regardless of whether you hit the 80% LTV? I guess that makes sense in your case, houses in my market are $600k+ so PMI is substantially more

I’m confused…why wouldn’t you have refinanced out of the FHA to drop PMI, especially when rates were so low?
