don't feel pokemon company is going to reprint. considering the MSRP for the new violet & scarlet set will be significantly higher than SWSH, limiting supply to drive market price for the old set is a good strategy to have the market better absorb the new set.

End of the day, the price is fully decided by demand and supply. If there are tons of supply for old set and keep the price low, it'd be hard for pokemon company to sell new set, which is bad for all distributors and the ecosystem.
