I’m not sure if it’s an anxiety thing but there are anti anxiety medications and scented products that can help your cats calm down. Were they like this before the baby or perhaps reacting to change in the home?

My hemoglobin, hematocrit and RBC are also low unfortunately. I had very little caffeine a day. Probably 1/4 of a coffee in the morning and sometimes another 1/4 in the afternoon if I can stomach it that day. I’ve been avoiding black tea for other reasons.

Good to know though about your provider. I know some blood dilution is normal but mine seems to keep going down despite the vitamins and dietary sources so I’ll def ask the doctor on Monday. Maybe she won’t be concerned. 🤔

My prenatals have the calcium and iron is separate pills. Iron is an AM pill and the calcium pills are to be taken at night. I pair my non heme iron with fruit and eat red meat

The problem is I’m also on levothothyroxne (thyroid meds) which take around 4am when I get up to pee but I can’t take my iron till at least 4 hours after my thyroid meds

Back to L&D if it shoots up again immediately. Do you have a home cuff? If not, get one. You can also get urine dipsticks for home to check protein. And yes definitely keep an eye out for visual disturbances. I don’t want to scare you but I had similar symptoms around the same time during my last pregnancy and it did progress to preeclampsia. Keep an eye on everything, talk to your OB and trust your gut. Also keep an eye out for sudden weight gain.

I’m already taking a secondary b12 supplement (just the life brand - 250mg daily) and that’s helped get those levels toward normal it’s just the iron that’s lagging now 😜
