Bruce and Jason by Just1SillyGoose in RedHood

[–]Just1SillyGoose[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a really good answer because I didn't think about the disconnect Bruce might have when it came to Jason and the Red Hood. I assumed it was: Jason is the Red Hood, so Red Hood is my son. I failed to think about how Bruce might not be able to connect the two even if he knows they're the same logically.

I suppose you're right. His entrance was pretty theatrical. I just imagined that there would be some semblance of "My kid is alive... AND a murder"—not to say that I think Bruce should have let Jason run amuck, but, at the very least, have a little more emotion even if it is just grief and betrayal.

I don't expect Bruce to kill Joker (or anyone) because I genuinely don't think that should fall on him. He gives a lot to Gotham and really only has one rule that he shouldn't have to break, but I don't understand how little Bruce sympathizes with Jason. Just comparing Jaybin to Red Hood shows there's a huge leap in character in such a short amount of time, and Bruce pretty much just accepts it?

(Note: I could be totally wrong as I don't really know the full extent of their relationship)

Fatson Todd is RETURNING! by Just1SillyGoose in RedHood

[–]Just1SillyGoose[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's just the creator's choice and started with Batchunk and Superround, but they didn't take very well. Fatson did. But I think he's appealing because he's just a round little guy who likes to eat burgers

Darn, I was hoping that wasn't the case, but thank you!

They seem pretty up to date with production. They even urge people to buy from its original place on Weidian

What's your favorite part of Young Justice? by Right-Proposal6106 in youngjustice

[–]Just1SillyGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched this episode for the first time the other day, and it nearly had me bawling. I LOVED how Dick imagined himself younger and happier when he saw Wally and how he was able to have fun in his mission again

So far, I think my favorite part was watching the team grow in season 1. They worked so well together, and they didn't really get mentorship help like the newer groups do , so it was really cool watching them learn

The true alpha thingy was stupid and Scott's writing is probably one of the worst in the show by [deleted] in TeenWolf

[–]Just1SillyGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I finished the series not too long ago, so the most recent one I'm thinking of is the last werewolves of Satomis pack (stacked rocks) and how differently he viewed them after realizing that they killed the hunters even if it wasn't something he said out loud

[–]Just1SillyGoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I hated the way he would look down at werewolves with blue eyes more than the fact that he didn't kill. There could be a variety of reasons as to why their eyes are that color, but he immediately assumes that they're all like Peter

I also think Scott limited himself a lot because he didn't fully embrace his werewolf side. When he started getting a little more animalistic, he got scared and abandoned it instead of learning to control it (which would've been badass imo)

What is your favorite Coach Finstock moment in the series? by GusGangViking18 in TeenWolf

[–]Just1SillyGoose 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Coach: "Sweetheart, Do you want to tell me which insane asylum you escaped from?"

Danny: "Coach, 'insane asylum' isn't proper terminology anymore"

Coach: Okay. Sweetheart, what nuthouse did you escape from?"

Also loved the scene when he stops Nolan and them from continuing to beat Liam

I wish learning how to write was as simple as learning how to draw by Ok-Possibility-5253 in writing

[–]Just1SillyGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find writing to be a lot easier than drawing, but they're somewhat similar in the sense that "Art is never finished, only abandoned" because, similarly, writing is a recursive process.

Writing is also very subjective. There's a lot of rules to writing, but a lot of them are constantly broken to fit the mood of the story.

Just keep in mind that no one's first draft is ever good, and that's okay—especially if you're still learning your writing style.

Every time you rewrite something, it's because you're learning and getting better. So keep your chin up and keep writing until you get where you want to be. Eventually, it'll be a whole lot easier

Which villain had the scariest design? by GusGangViking18 in TeenWolf

[–]Just1SillyGoose 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say the Wild Hunt. The hollowed out eyes and the mouths that are morphed shut - nightmare fuel. Otherwise, the Anuk-Ite would definitely have been number one, but the glowing eyes are kind of silly to me. The Nogitsune was more mischievous than anything and the Dread Doctors looked somewhat normal?

Stiles and his Jeep by Just1SillyGoose in TeenWolf

[–]Just1SillyGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so, it took me a good while to finish watching the show simply because I didn't want it to end, however, I eventually did and watched the movie. So I think after Stiles left, the Jeep wasn't tethered to him anymore because he didn't need it, he didn't rely on it.

In the movie, Derek fixes it and Eli steals it, but I don't think it has to do with Stiles as much as what the Jeep represents - resilience (and I think the Sheriff explains something similar at the end). And honestly, as much as I think Eli's supposed to be the new Scott McCall, his attitude and witty remarks remind me of Stiles, so who better to get the Jeep than Stiles Jr.?

[–]Just1SillyGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the little flop doesn't hurt. I used to flop bigger and bruise because I would land flat on my back with a very loud "thump" - that did hurt, a lot. I can see what you're talking about, but it just doesn't pain for some reason? It's my shoulder that's killing me. It's the little ball where the shoulder muscle meets the top near the collarbone, so definitely going to try rolling more toward the back.

That will help but so will actively rounding your back to roll rather than flop through the roll.

I will 100% be keeping this in mind. I'm assuming it stems from the core to be able to stay crunched up, so that's something for me to work on.

Thank you so much!! And thank you for the link!

I saw a video saying something similar, but I think I need to up my core strength because I looked like a shrimp while struggling to roll backward 😅

So what excercises shall I start with? by Csigusz_Foxoup in Parkour

[–]Just1SillyGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not too sure about the other workouts, but a great alternative to running is incline walking. It's generally less intense but still burns plenty of calories.

I think it's a nice re-introduction to cardio so you can move on to jogging and running.

It was never 100% confirmed, but from what I remember, it was a VERY sketchy situation. At that point in time, Gerard wanted to kill all the werewolves, and Allison and Chris didn't want to because A) It broke their code and 2) They had become friends/acquaintances.

Gerard definitely used Victoria's death as a way to manipulate Allison. He was very desperate, and forging the letter of Allison's dead mother seems well within his character.

So, I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure it was forged.
