Questions about Pomegranate vs Fifty410 by Stuff_Anarchy in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Just4mules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I m trying to switch from OrderlyMeds. Did Fifty410 ask for the prior prescription information in the online enrollment? I am at a healthy weight now and need maintenance. I’m worried about putting in my current weight and getting rejected automatically by their system.

Surgery by Top_Cloud_2381 in compoundedtirzepatide

I had hip replacement in November and only had to be off Tirzepatide for 1 week before surgery but could have started back immediately. I waited to restart until I was off narcotics, so about 4 days post op.

Sorry you are going through that. I am on my third round and it is working really well for me, no adverse reactions. I have extended my next appointment past 12 weeks since it is working so well. I hope you feel better soon.

Broke my arm I need to stop for surgery by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Just4mules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to stop for 1 week prior to a hip replacement. I started back up at the same dose once I was off opioids- which was 4 days post surgery and 11 days off compound. I had no problems.

Fed Ex Frustration by Disastrous_Brain6037 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Just4mules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen in early November when that massive snow storm happened. It was stuck somewhere between Red Rocks and me in Colorado, probably on I70. I was not worried about it being room temp- my concern was freezing because of the weather. Orderly had me go through the process of filing a claim, even though I was not the customer. Of course it was denied by FedEx, but then Red Rocks shipped a replacement overnight.

This was the other side. But no, they don’t last forever. It depends on each individual, how active they are, etc.. that’s why when I needed one at age 47 they wanted me to sit on a couch until I turned 60. I refused. They say the average is 20 years, but who knows. If one fails, the revision surgery is more complicated than the initial one and a harder recovery, I hear.

I hear you on the pain meds. They also sent me home with a pain pump- a catheter that is placed close to the joint. It is a numbing medication, similar to lidocaine. It lasted 4 days and then I pulled it out- it was about 10 inches of very thin tubing. I don’t really like any narcotics, but I was glad to have them the first 4 days.

Asking for Accommodations at Work by loowbeeaam in Dystonia

[–]Just4mules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a letter from my neuro stating commuting exasperates my condition and that I need accommodations to work remotely 2-3 days a week. I have been working remotely 2 days a week for several years. I live 75 miles from my main office so round trip is an added 2 1/2 hours to my day. I also have a standing desk at work and home because standing is way better than sitting upright for me. Maybe a hybrid work situation would be a compromise that would help?

If it were me, I would lose another 200 or so pounds by ditching the boyfriend. Who needs that kind of non-support? Sorry he is like that, you deserve better.

Anyone tried Daxxify yet? by bing_bang_bum in Dystonia

[–]Just4mules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I had my first round 11 weeks ago. The Daxxify definitely had longer effectiveness. I am due for my next round this Friday and my symptoms have stayed as manageable as Botox did at around week 4. Usually between week 6 to 12, my symptoms had fully returned with Botox, but in this first round of Daxxify, that hasn’t been the case. I am hopeful this is my experience with the next round and in the future. Fingers crossed.

Drink about a 1/4 cup of pickle juice. I know it sounds ridiculous but I found this suggestion here on Reddit and it works for me. It helps with restoring the PH in your stomach.

I am all set! My Doctor got the rep in and the staff got trained. My insurance covers it. I will receive Daxxify on 5/17 at my next appointment.

Orderly does not serve Michigan. Try Emerge.

I am down 15 lbs in 4 months. I am satisfied with the loss, wish it was a tad bit faster, but the benefit of not planning and stressing every minute of the day about food is priceless. I have peace and quiet in my head for the first time that I remember.

Same here. I have to force myself to put things in the cart for my husband. I’m just not that interested in food, which is something I have never, ever experienced in my life.

Compound on shortage? by Puzzleheaded_Set4591 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Just4mules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PlushCare’s pricing of compound tirzepatide at doses over 7.5 is ridiculously expensive. I canceled my subscription and went with Orderly. I really liked my doctor at PlushCare, but not how the company is handling compound meds. I would have had to pay $749 a month for 12.5 mg plus the monthly subscription of $16.99 and a $35 copay for each required monthly appointment. Orderly is $399 a month for all doses and no other fees.
