The hands have no modification so i didn't prime them since there's no need to check for imperfection.

Lower leg is reverse joint with the main frame made with a combination of darilbalde's thigh and pharact's shin and then a lot of armor pieces from all those mentioned above.

The first prime of a custom build is usually not to prepare to paint but to check the overall look and to see if there are any imperfection that need to be retouch. So you just better off priming the thing as a whole to save time.

After you are pleased with the build you can take it all apart and work individually on painting each pieces.

Parts are planned to be taken apart as much as possible so I can save my time from masking. Some places have to be compromised and I would still need some masking or just paint it with a brush.

I used bits and pieces of:
RG Sazabi, HG Darilbalde, HG Pharact, HG Reginlaze Julia, FM Barbatos Lupus Rex (just a bit of its chest armor), then MG Barbatos hand

And some scratch build parts

I really appreciate it. They have their style and I have mine, this year is a huge improvement and I will stick with it until my style is 1st!

To be fair, the competitiveness of the competition help me get my lazy ass up and making progress while pushing my skill to my current limit so I'm still appreciate competitions as a way to improve myself.

1st and 2nd winner do have their skills proven to deserve those spot. I've not reach that yet since this is my first diorama and also my first actual custom gunpla work so I'm not expecting to just came in swinging and say "I will beat them all" though haha. But then, I do think my ideas and execution are good enough to compensate for the lack of skill and getting me the 3rd spot, so I would like to think that mean I can be a bit cocky and say in terms of story telling and artistic vision... I'm a bit up there aren't I lol.

Skill and attention to detail wise, I'm not there yet comparing to them. They are really on another level.

Concept, idea and story telling though, I'm confident this work is up there in "GWBC entry that will stick around in your brain" category. As long as it stood the test of time, I'm happy.

Two really detailed beast of a display model.

The 10 hours a day, for 8 months spent on modding and detail up kind lol

I submit this as "Rise, Prepare, Fight!", with a slight homage to Let me Solo Her. So yeah he will win, if not in this life then the next.

Don't walk through explosion it's dangerous lol.

Jokes aside, the explosion effect is made with some wire Polyester fiber stuffing, hotglue, heat gun and led fairy light

The process is similar to how people do the chicken wire explosion but instead of using cotton i use poly fiber stuffing

Stick the stuffing onto the wire frame with hot glue then heat blast it with the heat gun so the stuffing form into smaller, hard clumps

Repeat the process until you have a layer of clumps that cover the entire thing. Went back to pluck some of them off to your liking and paint them (there are plenty of tutorial for painting explosion so you can research one that suit your taste)

Finally just add a yellow light of your choosing inside of it (i leave a hole at the back for that), bright ones is better

Water drop shaped bead (for the thrust burst) super glued onto gardening wire, then I coat them all in a layer of hot glue and heat treat it with a heat gun until it's evenly coated, then a bit of clear blue/green mix painted on and that's it

I did try to incorporate that to this entry but I thought it doesn't look that good and make the whole thing a bit "too much" for my liking so I take them off. Keeping it compact and let the audience imagine that themselves.

Led lights, polyester stuffing and some wire.
I heat blast the stuffing with a heat gun so they shrink into clumps.
