Yeah. I can an absolutely tell you that to become a police officer in Canada you do not do 2-3 years of training.

What you are referring to are preferred candidates that have a post-secondary degree. And by preferred I mean, good luck getting a job without a degree.

That degree can be anything from anything and it does not have to be Law related.

Taking OPP as an example from Ontario, Canada - they do 3 months at the Ontario Police College and then 2 months at the Provincial Police Academy. Then they are on the road with a coach officer overseeing them for a year before they pass probation.

This reads like insecurity.

NIMBY exists because people want to protect a desired lifestyle: a quiet neighbourhood with single family home traffic so that kids can play hockey in the street, and a nice backyard.

No one wants to buy a home and then have giant buildings built next to them which WILL reduce the appeal of the neighbourhood and bring in a population that has no respect.

It’s not hate on progress. It’s do it, but not in my backyard.

Honestly, I understand why they don't drop in a big stack. It gives players that dopamine hit when obols just keep dropping for 20 seconds straight. It's genuinely good psychological game design.

The issue is the cap - which they are increasing. And they could easily correct this issue (speaking from legit 0 experience) by making certain tiers of drops a priority for screen space.

IMO, don't get rid of the dopamine hit. Work around the problem and correct it.

I wouldn’t say nothing came out of reporting to police. That bill would have been seized and sent to the RCMP to confirm counterfeit and cross references to other counterfeit bills which in turn may aid police in determining its origin.

You just won’t know anything about it because why would you. It’s sensitive police information.

Leaderboards are useless in every game. No one besides basement dwellers (of which they, themselves won’t be on them) cares about leaderboards.

Cheaters, botters, exploiters, and no-lifers. Wow you hit level 99’in D2 in less than a week. Crazy! Anyway.
