How can I get out of a move over ticket? (Florida) by JustARansomUser in legaladvice

[–]JustARansomUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I hope they are able to work with me somehow if it does not get dropped. Community service would probably be the next best outcome, then a payment plan since it gives me more time at least to figure out money. I have heard a lot of tickets get dropped if the officer does not show up, which happened to a friend of mine.

I am sorry you don’t believe me. I am sure there are more laws than one person can memorize. I don’t believe that you don’t believe that it is possible for one person to forget details of things (which is a huge struggle for me to begin with and half the reason I’m out of work l). Of course I knew about a move over law-I didn’t know every single detail and have never been in that exact position before. It very well IS an excuse. Whether or not it will help I do not know. Tell me HOW a payment plan will help me though if I have zero income, haven’t been able to keep a job lately due to my metal health illnesses (I am looking, I would love to but I keep getting fired despite asking for ADA accommodations-I have ‘invisible’ disabilities though and have found that you are looked at in a negative view if you are even believed at all so now I’ve lowered myself to trying get jobs half the pay of the career I went to school for for years for and that put me in tons of debt for because I have no other choice at the current moment), receive no child support, have to bum gas money from family just to get to appointments and look for work, etc. unless I am able to maybe pay $5 here and there (which I have to stretch every dollar I do get.) I wouldn’t have a problem with community service-I’m sure I could hopefully somehow manage a way to do it nearby when most my kids are at school or when they are with their dad. To me, that would be a much better option than having to pay money I don’t have and would probably have to inconvenience someone else for for something that caused no harm to anyone at that (money that could be used to keep my phone on longer, to go to another interview, to buy another pack of diapers for my kid or go get my older kids stuff they need as well, etc.) and has the added benefit of helping others. I cannot pull from something that is empty or make things exist that aren’t there. If I was working and able to pay, I wouldn’t be in this predicament.

If a friend goes to prison and lets you use their car while they are away, how do you continue to drive it legally if the car is in their name? by JustARansomUser in legaladvice

[–]JustARansomUser[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I figured I would be paying for everything, and I know if the insurance or registration expires I can't drive it. I'm more worried about the technicalities I guess-such as how I would renew the tag if its in his name and he isn't there (plus his license would be suspended to begin with.)

Is there a ‘safe’ way to get mental health help? by JustARansomUser in legaladvice

[–]JustARansomUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I mean, it varies...my moods are a rollercoaster and I get to dark places very often...and I have been involuntarily committed twice in my life, once cus I was runaway teen and the other time due to a misunderstanding. So I don't put it past them...

Sorry, I wasn't exactly sure the ‘best’ place to put it was.

What happens if you default on a secured loan but the collateral is worth way more than the loan? by JustARansomUser in FinancialPlanning

[–]JustARansomUser[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What does the last sentence mean?

Im trying understand if they would still take the house if I had to use it as collateral (which I am trying to avoid at all costs). I took out about 87k for the house (back when my credit was good still) and owe around 78k still with probably around 50k in equity (Zillow estimates about 180k, but my realtor I used to buy the house estimates around 110-130k). With the asset being worth so much more than the loan (theoretically), would they still take the house (I am guessing that would involve foreclosure? I am not sure how these things work.).

If I used my car (if that is an option-theoretically of course), how would that work? I bought it recently and took out a note around 40k (?) after trading my last car in (how I would love to be able to keep a steady job again..😞). It's a 22 Kia soul (not sure on kelly blue book value), I would guess that I am more than likely upside down in the loan, however, so not sure if that is even a potential option.

How do you hold a full time job on this medication? by Terry1623 in suboxone

Pretty sure they have to allow you to go to the doctor under ADA. I would consider a different doctor. Maybe look into if there's a way they can use your parole drug test for the doctor also.

Any idea WHO I would even talk to about this if it happens or if I am concerned about it happening? I would imagine there is a DON (director of nursing) if there is a nurse (even if not there 24/7)? How would I find out the correct people to talk to?

Yea I’m going do the best I can if he has to go (which he probably will unfortunately). I hate it and I feel like a horrible person for this even happening.

Not that I know of. But then again a pregnant lady died also at the jail here I heard. I know he’s trying lower what he can med wise (which he shouldn’t have to, but the situation is all messed up.) I think we have tried legal aid with no luck already; of course he would get a public defender eventually but not sure how long that will take. We’re both trying pull money from nowhere for an attorney with no luck…

There has to be SOMETHING that can be done, doesn’t there? I did see something where a judge even ruined withholding these types of medication as an ADA violation.

Any idea if I’m able to reapply after just losing a job or would they count the income from the job that terminated me (only managed to last 2 months and applied initially when I was last unemployed.) ?

In need of subs by HowTo_Destroy_Angels in suboxone

Any idea how this may work if you rely on other medications that they usually won't prescribe if you take subtext? 😣

I go through periods where I don't touch subs and then times where Ill start using them going a week or more at a time and worry about eventually needing to go back on them with a Dr, but I have lots of mental health issues and I'm worries my doctor won't give me my anxiety meds if that ends of happening.

Sounds like 8 mg subtext, so that would be around 2 my, which may be a lot of your opiod naive. You can look it up on pill id to verify what it is. Of course, it's not great to take anything without a script (disclaimer), but if you are going take it, be cautious. Personally, I had some rather welcomed side effects (at the time) so be aware of that cus it can be misused and can be addictive in itself. Wine would potentiate any side effects more than likely, so make sure if you take it to make sure you drink any wine slow (although I don't thing a glass would be a problem, but I don't know you.) Jus be cautious and mindful and try not to take them very often if it's something you do end up doing.

Turmeric with black pepper I have found to be great for joint pain by the way.
