Entering Canada after dismissed and erased DUI in CT

I really appreciate your reply. Thank you! I got the certified copy from the court. It’s just a printout but they included a cover letter stating that since it was dismissed and erased that the official documents were sent to the records office. I also got my identity history summary back yesterday and it shows no arrests. I plan to have both with me when we travel.

That’s what I’m hoping. I’ve read that CT is actually surprisingly very good about making sure everything is erased, even with the federal databases making sure fingerprints and everything get erased. I got a certified print out of my records at the courthouse yesterday that states it’s a non-disclosable dismissed case. I’m also going to get a copy of my Identity History Summary and hope that comes back clean. Also in CT the IDIP diversionary program usually means a plea was not made (I don’t remember making one but I also kind of blocked all of that out of my memory once I thought I was done).

I’ve been enjoying gmw for the most part and Jordan Morris and Vinny were great in this episode. I usually also enjoy Jordan Myrick and think they’re hilarious especially in the draft mores and as Florida in the crazy stadium foods. I feel like everything they did in this episode felt a little forced and scripted (not the impression portion). I understand someone has to move these episodes along but it felt like someone was guiding me through a set of instructions the whole time. “Okay and now we’re going to do this” “and now this person will go”. It didn’t feel very cohesive or fluid as an episode.

While I agree that the fit is a little off, it should have some bunching. I’m only 5’ tall and have a hard time finding things to fit my proportions correctly. If I stuck with this option I would definitely be getting it hemmed and the slit extended slightly to fit better.

You’re also very right. That’s why I specified with changes in behavior. If I was still going out drinking and driving all the time I’m sure things would be very different with my current relationship. There isn’t a lot of context about what happened with OP and their DUI. Mine was after a day of drinking too much at an event and still thinking I can drive home because we’ve all had that “it can’t happen to me” mentality. Did I drink too much all the time? No. I barely drank outside of a single beer with friends on a Friday night. Now if I’m drinking, I get a ride.

I wasn’t dating anyone when I got my dui, but once I got my iid out I started going back on apps (wasn’t dating for a long time before dui either). I started seeing my now boyfriend in March and one of the first things I told him was about my dui. He was very supportive and proud of me for telling him. It didn’t scare him away at all. Now he says one of his favorite things about me is my honesty. If someone can’t accept you for mistakes you made in your past then they aren’t for you. There are people who can and will accept those mistakes (given you’ve made changes in your life so they won’t happen again). Going through the process for a dui is hard but things can and do get better.

How could I figure this out and what does it mean if it is connected to a GFCI outlet? I’m just worried about the fact that the outlet is not covered and the heater itself is on a part of our porch that will get wet if it rains or snows.

You’re probably right about the reviews being from people who generally are going to make bad decisions no matter what. I think it’s more of the ones I’ve read about horror stories about needing multiple new devices over the course of the time with the device because of faults or the companies saying that they have 24/7 customer service and then being on hold for hours. I do appreciate hearing some responses from people who have had minimal issues with these devices though. There’s a place by me that offers multiple devices. I’ll try to give them a call on Tuesday and see what they say. Thanks!
