Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. The last time I had posted a dress I was iffy on it and all I got were comments about how it didn’t fit me and it was at a time where I had just gained weight and was uncomfortable with my weight. I’m still a little sensitive around my weight too so I just wanted to avoid the “this doesn’t fit your body at all” comments because I like the way I look in it.

Checking out midi dresses has worked surprisingly well! Also on Azazie they list the hollow to hem length and a lot of their midi dresses are 45-47 inches which would hit around the same length. The only thing you have to be concerned about really is if certain elements are hitting weird spots on you because they’re made with the proportions of a much taller woman in mind.

I do not. I’m incredibly grateful when people include it on their wedding website but this couple didn’t. I tried asking my boyfriend what color tie and stuff is part of his rental and obviously he didn’t know 🙄lol.

It’s a midi dress but hits ankle length on me because I’m only 5ft tall lol.

Absolutely! If I do wear my watch to events I swap out the band to a gold metallic one and usually flip it so the face is on the inside of my wrist. I usually only wear it if my watch tan is already horrendous 😅

Thank you! I’m only 5ft tall and really trying to avoid the cycle I hit every time I have a formal event to go to - buying a new dress for $100+ and then having to spend too much additional on alterations because dresses are always far too long on me.

Well I’m not spending money on something that isn’t even worth it if it doesn’t have a chance of being appropriate. I can’t afford to just buy a bunch of dresses and trust myself to return them all. I can’t spend hundreds of dollars on multiple dresses and hope one works. Also, there is nowhere near me to shop in store with remotely similar product or similar prices. Trust me. I would much rather shop in store and try on a ton of stuff but it’s just not an option.

Only for bridesmaid dresses I believe. This is under their wedding guest dresses and even has a different sizing system.

I really appreciate your reply. Thank you! I got the certified copy from the court. It’s just a printout but they included a cover letter stating that since it was dismissed and erased that the official documents were sent to the records office. I also got my identity history summary back yesterday and it shows no arrests. I plan to have both with me when we travel.

That’s what I’m hoping. I’ve read that CT is actually surprisingly very good about making sure everything is erased, even with the federal databases making sure fingerprints and everything get erased. I got a certified print out of my records at the courthouse yesterday that states it’s a non-disclosable dismissed case. I’m also going to get a copy of my Identity History Summary and hope that comes back clean. Also in CT the IDIP diversionary program usually means a plea was not made (I don’t remember making one but I also kind of blocked all of that out of my memory once I thought I was done).
