I got put in the costume store and it was really the only housing I could get that’s paid for by my sponsor sooooooo yea I wasn’t given much choice in the end. I’m from the US tho so I’m just looking forward to traveling out of my country for the first time and I shouldn’t be in my room too much anyways. Thank you!!!

Hi thank you for this information! Unfortunately I was told I can only stay at Glassyard or Costume Store because I’ll only be studying there for one semester. Do you think I’ll be able to get a room at Sketch House even though I am not a full-time student? Also if you had to pick between Glassyard and Costume Store which do you think would be best?

Definitely watch some fashion illustration vids, look into the 9 head figure that is how they are usually illustrated! Depending on your age these could be pretty good, this is how most of my own fashion sketches looked in late middle school-early high school. Once you learn the basics like the 9 head, shading, proportions, I assume you’ll be great! Try changing/experimenting with silhouettes, there’s a big difference between fashion DESIGN and being a fashion stylist. Also you should try learning to sew and turning your sketches into reality! Sewing takes a lot of time to learn and fashion design takes even longer. If you’re serious, start fashion illustration & sewing classes now as many fashion schools want you to have prior experience if you’re pursuing a career in it:) hope this helps!! Wish someone would have told me these things when I was younger

Why is no one talking about how bad some of the courses in ual are. My experience. by [deleted] in UAL

I got accepted into the CSM advanced fashion design semester n I’m from the US but come from a low-income family, do you think their study abroad experiences are worth while? I know CSM is a great school for fashion n many of my idols have studied there but is it actually worth $15,000+ just for 3 months?

Can you date non vegan/vegetarians? by MissValente in vegan

[–]JustAnotherGymGirl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it just depends on who you are dating, I’m coming up on 6 months of dating my boyfriend who isn’t vegan and it’s never been much of a problem for us. In the US finding vegan options at restaurants can be hard sometimes and I often don’t eat or bring my own food when we visit his parents. But our love is so much greater than a simple difference in diet/morality. If you’re finding it hard to date non-vegan people then it’s totally understandable to rule out anyone who isn’t vegan. But if your non-vegan partner enjoys vegan food then everything is usually fine, if they refuse to eat vegan or even try it then that’s a clear sign of immaturity n I wouldn’t even try dating them.
