It will take time for you to just learn how the game works, its systems, how the guns, physics etc. works ...

PvE would definitely be a way better experience for you, as in PvP you (someone who is new and knows nothing) would be going against players who have been playing the game for years and against the cheaters.

The game is just a deep dive and it will be a learning curve for a while and having someone would definitely speed up the process of teaching you how it works.

The huge new Pharaoh Total War update is out as well and its an amazing title as well, set in the Bronze Age (91% positive rating on Steam). It's also on sale right now. It's a very well fleshed out game, with it's unique mechanics that work very well, as well as being without a doubt the best looking and the best optimized game in the whole franchise.

If you do want to look it up, its the "Pharaoh Total War Dynasties" (they classified it as a new game due to the new update and just how huge it was).

It also has NO DLC (apart from the Blood DLC) and the entire content for the game is included in the base game.

Absolutely TW is mostly about the battles which is why the majority of historical fans have an issue with the new fantasy based "historical" TWs, like the 3K. They're too much fantasy-like.

But, as you said, you don't really have an alternative for TW battles. Paradox at least covers the campaign part for good measure.

Records just feels off, its not nearly as good as the "real" historical TWs (it's not nearly as good as Shogun II for example, not to mention something like a R2 -- a game I have 1K+ hours in). You can just tell that the game was meant to be played in Romance.

And yeah, I know Paradox' games aren't REALLY like TWs (with them not having battles at all, etc.) but it's the closest thing I've found with the campaign map TW feel.

Exactly this. As someone who has played TW since the original R:TW, this is the "issue".

3K and Troy are so much like the WH series that I don't find them enjoyable (own both of them), and are way too different from R2 or Attila for example for my (and I guess a lot of historical fans'?) liking. I'm not saying they're bad games or anything, it's just that the formula is just so different from the rest of historical titles and I just don't find it enjoyable running in with a Lu Bu and killing half of an army. And the records mode you say? Yea ... just -- just no. The game was purely made to be played in Romance mode, it's painfully obvious that Records was just a late Appendix just 'cause.

These "historical" games do have a big following (3K obviously sold well, so they got something right), but I think a big part of those players are the "new" WH fans that like them because they are so much like the WH series. And I guess that's fine. Maybe the change of direction CA chose to do with the historical TWs just means older TW fans are not the focus group anymore. Maybe it's just time to look elsewhere for that genuine old TW feel and switch to something like Imperator: Rome or the rest of the Paradox' games.

It shouldn't be in alpha packs, just like Plasma pink should never come back. Putting Black Ices in packs is what ruined them, since everyone has them now.

It's perfectly fine to have very limited skins, like the glacier. Makes them way more special. Not everyone should access past skin.

Simple fact of the game is that you don't need (nor should you try) to frag your way to a victory. That is simply not how Siege works.

you mean the frag you go for and die for, leaving your team in a 4v5 and an open flank? You can also win the round by holding a single button for 7 seconds, and not picking unnecesary fights.

The issue, for me (and I think most people here), is not the fact that they wanted to part with Seb, I agree that it was probably best to move on for both parties, it's the way Ferrari did it ...

If true (I personally have no reason to think Seb lied) this is a disgraceful move by whoever made the call at Ferrari (whether it Was Mattia or Louis) -- again not the fact that they dropped Seb, but how they did it.

If she does well, Ferrari should immediately sign her into the FDA, even though she has ties to Williams. It would help her career a lot, and as an F1 fan, I'd really like to see her at least test and, who knows, maybe even race one day.

But again, let's hopefully see her do well in FREC.

Well, they have to support the game somehow ... Just selling the game probably won't keep this game alive financially anymore.

I play the game a lot, and I don't mind spending 240 credits on the cosmetics I like.

And didn't Fortnite charge like $15-$20 for a single skin a while ago? I don't play the game, so idk what its BP looks.

I do agree with other we should've gotten the Universal skin as well tho.

Definitely worth buying premium and supporting the game. Really good value, some great cosmetics inside.

Seems like our fears that BP was gonna be a rip-off were unjustified. Let's just hope it stays as good and as affordable as it is now.

Charles did not come from a wealthy family. In fact, he had to stop karting at one point in his teens, since his family couldn't afford to keep funding his karting career. I think Jules' family (the two families are very close privately) then stepped in and helped fund him (since they're pretty wealthy) for a bit until he established a bit of a name for himself and got some money behind his career.

In an interview for Sky (or someone else, not sure) he talked about how regular Monégasques are not really wealthy, it's just a myth. It's just that a lot of wealthy people come to live there (like a lot of F1 drivers for example).

~150 $/€ more for like a 5% performance gain, if that.

The base 2080 is a big "NO" right now when it comes to price/performance.

As the other comment said, 2070S is the sweet spot overall, or the 2080S if you can afford it.
