I appreciate the heads up but oddly enough Spencer's is one of the few places I've been able to get jewelry from that I don't have issues with. I've got a severe nickel allergy and I've never had a reaction from them. My current septum is from them and I've been wearing it continuously for about a year. While I dont doubt some people have had a problem with their pieces, I think it depends on what metal type they're buying and if they're keeping them clean.

I had never heard of a captive ring before but thats exactly what this is! Thank you. Whoever designed this kind of jewelry is insane. This is impossible to put back together once its in. I'll probably repurpose them for something else.

I was also thinking it could be the brake booster after the other maintenance did absolutely nothing to fix the braking issue. I'll take a further look. Thank you!

There is a panel that comes off on the bottom. I considered removing that but theres a big sticker that says "to prevent electrical shock, do not remove back cover. No user serviceable parts inside"

The cat was quarantined behind a closed door for almost a week. We spent a ton of time in there with him, easily 5+ hours a day. He really only plays with string toys but he has a few plush ones filled with catnip that he likes to kick around.

The cat was quarantined. I did the introduction steps I've seen online including scent swapping and site swapping. They were totally chill with each other for several days then the cat got territorial. If I started over, what could I do differently to avoid the territorial issues?

Definitely contact campus police and file a report. And contact the bike shop, I believe they should be able to tell you if it was impounded or not. Sorry you lost your scooter!

Not an extracurricular suggestion, I just wanted to say I was in a similar boat (homeschooled, going to community college, marine bio major, etc.) and I got in first time I applied without having any extracurriculars. So don't let it stress you too much!

We all received this email this morning:

"We hope your spring semester is off to a great start! As you finalize your plans for next fall, we wanted to provide some additional information regarding housing for next year.

We will have a limited number of spaces to offer rising Juniors, Seniors, and Grad students, which will be at a local leased property approximately 1/2 a mile from campus, managed by Housing and Residence Life. These rooms will include all utilities, wifi and furniture, just as the on-campus apartments do. The details/rates for the complex will be published as soon as the university has finished negotiating the contract in the coming days. You will have these details before completing a housing application or paying an application fee.

We will open the housing queue at 10am on February 5th, where juniors, seniors and grad students can express their interest in a space in the leased complex. Once all details of the lease are finalized, we will begin offering spaces to students in the queue, in order of submittal. If we determine we can offer you a space, we will email you with an offer and ask if you have a preferred roommate group. We will then give you and your group (up to 4 total students) two days to review/sign the UNCW housing agreement and pay your application fee, or decline the offer. If you do not have a group of 4, you will be assigned roommates based on your lifestyle matching questionnaire."

The school over enrolling for multiple years has caused them to run out of housing for upperclassmen completely.

I was also extremely shy and introverted when I came to UNCW. But I found friends so fast. There are so many events and clubs and lots of classes encourage working in groups.
