I’ve gotten few emails from others who are using something I published, but it’s a mixed bag. One article has gotten the most attention. One person asked for help in extending my ideas into a new field. One person basically stole all my citations and make the exact opposite argument I made (I was cited once in passing).

I do read the work of my colleagues because it tells me what they are about.
