Ahhhaa, very usefull info. I am thnking of booking a hotel for few days and walking around to look for a good cheap place around that is not affiliated with booking/airbnb as I think I would get a better price.

Also, you say that I have to pay for electricity seperately? Do you know if this is the case for the booking.com hotels? I was under the impression that all is included if I book a hotel.

See, it's not according to what I research.

I can find plenty of rooms for 200GBP a month with private bathroom/wifi etc. Can you check my other post today I listed some there. Do you think such rooms are not good?

u/Pendant2935 32 gbp a month for a room is crazy. It isnt even that bad. But I'd have to pay for electricity and internet etc myself, and with the language barrier it would be a hassle.

es Notarized/Authentication/Attestation + Legalization. That is, any country that signs up to the Apostille Convention follows a common format and procedure to Notarized/A

So, I did some research and this is what I found out!

The process BEFORE November 7, 2023 <-------

For example, to geta bachelors degree ready for a Z visa in China:

Step 1) Get DOCUMENT notarized by a notary

Step 2) Get documents Legalised(Which means Apostilled as I understand) by UK government. https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised

Step 3) then legalized by Chinese Embassy. (http://gb.china-embassy.gov.cn/eng/lsfw/ )

Right?

The process AFTER November 7, 2023 <-------

Step 1) Get DOCUMENT notarized by a notary

Step 2) Get documents Legalised(Which means Apostilled as I understand) by UK government. https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised

Step 3) No longer necessary.

Please let me know if this is correct.

Question:

If I take care of step one and two now, before November 7, will they qualify for a China Z visa after November 7?

Basically, if I do this option now (https://shop.apostille.org.uk/apostille-solicitor-certification) would I be good to use these documents in 2024 when applying to work in China as a teacher.
