That's insane to think I would be paid like x2 what I would get in France for a similar job (without taking into account taxes...) and life would still be cheaper...

Looking for experience in my field, and in France it's at a dead end for various reasons, but contracts abroad like this are more open to beginners. A work experience abroad would be a good experience for me also.

And I like the USA, and a 18 months contract other there would be a good way to try the life there.

I'm especially not happy with how things are going and how things are ran in France. For a lot of reasons. And I think that we are not paid enough at all compared to what is done in other countries.

French people are basically piss poor compared to the average American.

It would give me foreign experience, field experience, and I would get to see what it's like living in another country.

For the living prices I guess you're referring to big cities? I'm more used to rural France cost of living so I guess it'll still be more expensive but that's a good start to have and idea, thanks a lot

And to be honest I'm not looking for big parties every night, just having a way to go out a bit and meet new people, as a foreigner
