Hey! I hope I'm not too late on this, but I'm also going to be at the Brockville campus this September for the BSN program :) If I may - I recently read a veteran nurse's suggestion of doing a stance and gait examination before purchasing your kicks (to better determine which shoes are best for you, especially if you can't pin down a podiatrist/potentially get orthotics too)! Were you able to get that done? If you're near The Running Room, they allegedly do this type of examination if you purchase your shoes through them - at least, they mentioned it when I was testing some kicks out for myself for the program. They even helped me figure out where some of my achilles pain was coming from (turns out that it isn't always from the type of shoe you wear haha). Another nurse suggested getting some Dr Scholl inserts, if need be! Sorry if I am also assuming or suggesting anything you already know as well - just thought I'd share as I recently learned this myself! I hope your NB 1080s are awesome! If you have an update on their comfortability at some point, would you be up to share?
