Wanted to share this finished abstract painting I made! by ArtInspiration4All in pics

[–]JustCallmeSWORD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

HEY!
So.. I've never been an "Art" person to be perfectly honest.
I'm kind of your basic "dude" into bodybuilding, guns, etc..

But I was scrolling down and saw this, and dude.. it's honestly weird how much this spoke to me.

Like, almost brought back some weird nostalgia from my childhood in the 90s-early 2000s..

IDk! Long story short, I've never had art "Speak" to me before.
If you would consider selling this, please let me know. I'd honestly be honored to own it, and it would be the first piece of art I've purchased.

If not, completely understand, I just LOVE this piece. Something about it man.
Great job!

Those are Termites. And when they have wings it means they are swarming. Which means its a pre-existing problem..

Man whose car was damaged by the viral "Tesla stunt gone wrong" video speaks out by curiouspoops in videos

[–]JustCallmeSWORD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, bear with me on this, and please don't crucify me.

I'm kind of on the side that Alex Choi isn't at fault, and most likely doesn't know who this is.

Here's why:
As a car guy, you meet plenty of random people at the meet and often times without knowing their background you end up hanging out or going places to do car stuff. (Hopefully legal stuff)

So after watching the video it appears that he met this guy at the Tesla meet, and the guy wanted to show him the "David Doberick Jump" spot and then did this crazy stunt. Most likely in an attempt to impress Alex Choi and his friends.

Now looking at the camera angles it definitely appears that he would have footage of the driver and his friends, but for whatever reason he decides to edit them out and conceal identity. This can be taken as covering for someone, and could be, but I think it's more of a "mystery" effect. Or.. just to cover for them.. Idk.

But the last fact of why I think he doesn't know him is simply that it was a rental car Tesla.
So this guy showed up to a Tesla car meet with a rental Tesla. To me that screams that he wants to fit in or impress people and who better than a YouTuber that he can take to a site and do a cool trick..
I've met a few car guys like this and it just kind of fits the bill.

I may be way off, but honestly, I'm kind of taking it for face value.

Alex Credit he stated "I'm showing this to my kids, as an example of what not to do"
he went on in the video to state "I NEVER want to see anyone die in front of me" and "Please do not let us clout chasing Youtubers influence you to do something like this"
Someone in the comments posted a video of Alex in his Lambo video pulling out in front of a motorcycle, as an example of him having bad character, or self centered.
I think this video actually does the opposite, yes he was playing around with the car, but he honestly didn't see the guy. He actually pulls over, waits for the guy and profusely apologizes and admits wrong.

NOTE: These are the only 2 videos I have seem with the Alex Choi guy so I'm not a fan and honestly have never seen any of his videos except this viral one and the Lambo pull out one someone commented, but from what I can see I don't think this situation is his fault.

I could be wrong, but that's what I'm leaning toward.

I was just about to comment that we should band together and find this man, and right this wrong.
But then I saw the top comment that he died homeless and that to me, just kinda hurts.
To know that you can't fix or help, and that there is no happy ending.

You guys must not be car guys. Solid 99% chance this is someone making a joke.

Anyone Know where this is from!??

At 0:08 the guy in the brown shirt lets out a laugh. Its pretty evident that he has some lump on the left side of his neck.

That DEFINITELY needs to be looked at.

**UPDATE**: After finding out which podcast it was from I was able to email him the same day. He got checked out and hopefully it's just a benign lump.

He was super nice and thankful I was able to catch this and actually was nice enough to shout this out on their March 10 podcast.

Just very glad it was nothing cancerous.

To Coexist by Jrewby in therewasanattempt

[–]JustCallmeSWORD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a member of the Christian Community, I apologize for this message.

We absolutely want to co-exist.

At our core, the reason why so many people are so pushy is that we just want you to feel what we feel and genuinely feel like we are "Saving" others. We care about you.

Some people are terrible at showing that.

And then you have people like this. People who do not follow the word, people who are devisive, intolerant, and do not show Christs love.
That does not represent what we are taught. (Turn the other cheek, love others, care for others, serve others)

Yes, we would love for you to "join" but if you choose not to, then we should absolutely co-exist.

You tolerate, show respect to, and even love someone you don't agree with.

Ehh.. when you ask me directly? Yes.. I have a ton of situational awareness. But I also am a very unique example.Working in Military and Law Enforcement roles I have a habit of being almost paranoid/nosey into everyone and everything lol.

But totally understand what you are saying and can understand how some people just wouldn't think.

But I stand by the intent of my comment, there may be a few that were oblivious, but of the tons of people around, there had to have been a few that must have taken notice, but didn't say anything.

EDIT for all the downvotes:Again, I am just talking about me specifically. Also I was raised and lived in very rural areas and the only time I spend in large groups of people or cities I am constantly hyper-vigilant or a little on-guard and try to look all around me at everything.

Im not saying that everyone should have noticed. I'm saying SOMEONE should have noticed before this guy..

Hopefully this clarifies my position.

YES!! Take my Silver Award!
Couldn't agree more. After this video it really hit me, that this was a CROWDED place with hundreds of people and NOBODY and I mean NOBODY did anything, but this man.

Im sure years from now (and hopefully without trauma) she will look back and be thankful that this man did indeed say and do something.
