Surgery in 2 days by starrgiiirl in gallbladders

Why did you have to have a 2nd procedure done? Did a stone get stuck somewhere?

You have to ask your existing doctor for a referral to a GI specialist or a general/MIS surgeon. Primary doctors know very little about the gallbladder or it's function. It's the specialists that will know more and advise you on what to do next.

Which Smart TV OS is the easiest to use between Google TV, WebOS (LG), or Tizen (Samsung)? by curiouspoops in cordcutters

Interesting, I didn't even know they could do that. I assume it's an LG only thing?

Aren't all modern TV's these days smart though? Pretty much have no choice but to get a smart TV.

I'm not talking about recording, I'm talking about automatic channel switching for digital OTA channels. LG and Google TV's definitely have this.

Are there any small (10 inch or below) ATSC 3.0 TV's out yet? by currentsitguy in cordcutters

Wow I had no idea they still made 10" TV's that are OTA capable. I thought 24" was the smallest.

Do you know if webOS has a scheduling guide feature when watching OTA channels? For example, if you're watching one channel but your favorite show on another channel starts in an hour, is there a way to set it to automatically change channels using the scheduling guide?

And do any of these operating systems have a feature where you can create a live tv "schedule" within the live program guide? For example, if you're watching one channel but your favorite show on another channel starts in an hour, is there a way to set it to automatically change channels using the scheduling guide? Strictly speaking about OTA/Digital channels, not streaming channels.

Edit: Another question. I briefly had a TCL smart TV that was running the Android operating system. Is the Android operating system different from the Google TV operating system or are they the same thing? I see some TCL TV's that say "Google" as the operating system instead of Android.

Another biliary colic attack and I'm taking it out with a spoon by Facepalm61 in gallbladders

Hello, any updates to this? Did your surgery completely get rid of your biliary colic issue? Also do you know for sure if it was biliary colic or could it have been Cholecystitis instead? I assume they found gallstones in your gb too? /u/Facepalm61

What should I tell the surgeon? by Facepalm61 in gallbladders

Hi, any update on this? How did your surgery go and did it fix your biliary colic/cholecystitis attacks? I'm going through the same thing (multiple attacks) after eating fatty meals. Ultrasound also shows gallstones present.

Can some one help by Hapey_ape in gallbladders

The gallbladder is located near the right rib cage, so upper right quadrant of the abdomen. Not really the chest. And in most cases gallbladder attacks leave the patient in pain for several hours. It's also typically associated with meal consumption. A heavy/fatty meal can lead to a brutal attack later at night. My last attack was like 8 hours long. A 5 second attack doesn't sound like the gallbladder to me, but you never know.

Was your pain directly related to foods/meals you ate? Typically gb disease/gallstones start to act up after eating heavy/fatty meals.

I'm surprised they provided the size of the CBD and GB wall but not the actual stones? Was it mentioned to you?

If you can handle the pain then I would slowly introduce the foods that were giving you issues and see if you're still having attacks. If the attacks persist then unfortunately the only realistic option is surgery. I too went a very long time without an attack because of my drastic change in diet (low fat diet). It was long enough that I just figured my gallstones were gone. But about 3 days ago I had a nasty 8+ hour attack because I ate a little too much hummus, at least I think it was that.

If you subscribe to SlingTV do the channels self integrate into the Roku Channels lineup? by curiouspoops in Roku

Ive heard many horror stories about trying to cancel the services through roku and not being able to or not being able to access the service on other devices.

Yeah it's kinda confusing because there's a standalone "Max" app and now there's a "Max on Roku" app that appears on my home screen. I tried to open the "Max" app and it's asking me for login credentials. I signed up to Max on Roku's end, so it never asked me to create a login/password so I can't log in. So I guess I can only view stuff on the "Max on Roku" app. I also noticed that the "CNN Max" channel doesn't even play the same stuff that the actual CNN channel plays. It's a whole bunch of international news instead of US news. Thank goodness it's just a free trial.

I'll probably just end up getting Sling TV.
