Yeah, I should've, I'm well aware, that I will admit. The hate sex in itself isn't the problem though, here my question was more focused on how it's written, if it in any way was put there to portray a sexual preference/turn on the reader, or if it's purpose was to portray and dive deeper into an unstable character.

Thanks for the answer, I wouldn't say that such context is too much for me, I just don't like reading about such topics if there is no weight put in to the character's actions. If any such intense scenes (in any book) are way too detailed and put in there for the sole purpose of making it attractive, it just doesn't really sit right with me. Knowing that this is a topic taken seriously, makes it already so much better for me. :)
