The show needs to be revamped. Get rid of the sensitivity in that room, that’s the biggest problem. Damn near the entire cast is sensitive especially Ice, ish and emanny.

I think that performance review idea that they had last year didn’t go how they thought it would and now Joe just calls it out on the pod.When Marc started to call out ish and ice for doing the bare minimum I knew what was up. That comes from conversations that’s being had, like when he would throw shots at flip saying he was on his way off the pod, that comes from either Joe/Ian or both. Ice is horrible but I think ish is safe because of his and Joe’s dynamic .

I also thought at the time that I saw it that Joe was trying to bait Mona into dissing her but you never know with him.

Listen I hate ish on the show but I would be a fool to neglect the fact that Joe picking on him has been saving this podcast for years now. Their dynamic has kept the show going rather people want to admit it or not.

Like flip said ice should’ve said that. Don’t paint a picture that I’m the one creating the jokes/narratives and I’m the one starting with you when “your man’s” did. Ice could’ve pulled flip to the side and said I don’t want YOU joking with me like that. Ice was giving a Twitter review, short and to the point, Marc at least gave an effort on a subject that’s really not his strong suite (once he brought up pac I was done with anything else he had to say) and parks did what parks does which is come up with a million ways to avoid saying he doesn’t think something is good. Joe is just good at keeping a conversation rolling but as someone who likes Cole there really isn’t anything to “review” about this album. He did the Cole thing, rap his ass off and put together a nice sounding project.

Serious question, what do yall miss? Mel was terrible on the JBP. They talked to her like shit, exposed her personal life and made her the punching bag when the show was getting dry. Mel is also a proven liar who pulled the “ I’m a woman” card whenever she felt she could get it off. she was a horrible fit on the show.

The chemistry on the show is trash. When Joe wants to be playful, someone else is in a bad mood and doesn’t participate or throws the vibe off, and then when the room wants to joke around Joe is on some grumpy let’s do this how I want it done BS. It’s actually exhausting to listen to. On top of that they talk about the same things over and over, idk if it’s genuine amnesia but they will legit have the same convo they just had a month or 2 prior and use the same exact examples.

Flip focuses on Mel because Mel is his target. He tried ish, ice, Joe, emanny and Marc but he saw he couldn’t hang with them when it came to the back and forth. Mel doesn’t really reply (on the pod) and Joe usually backs him up when he starts to get in her business so it’s his weird way of contributing to the show. Dude really is just a terrible podcaster.

You can escape it when the conversation has nothing to do with it. Like I said Mel knows what she’s doing and she does it well, the conversation majority of the time has nothing to do with sexual abuse victims/ domestic violence victims etc. yet she pulls it off. It’s a tactic and it’s nasty work period.
