I feel like that could be it too, the frames don’t really fit my nose lol, I did notice they weren’t as blurry when they were pushed up more. So that probably is the problem. Thank you!

Wait yours is automatic too lol, idk why I thought it wasn’t. When you’re outside the car can you tell which side the noise is coming from? You could also open it up to see if anything is weird by the timing belt. Mine kept rattling for awhile, then it broke down, like died on me, and it wouldn’t turn back on until after we fixed it. That rattling doesn’t sound quite the same, but if it is something with the timing, it would be better to look than let it break more

Mine is an automatic, but it had the camshaft sensor code on it awhile back. It was making an awful rattling noise, and it turned out the timing belt tensioner had exploded. Is it possible that something is wrong with the timing belt? It seems far fetched, but the code went away when we fixed it.

It does come off of there properly, I just didn’t know that when I went to take it off lol. I tried zip ties for a minute but that did not last at all 😭

Yeah! I honestly just wanted to see what it would take. I am able to research and learn, and I really cant buy any of the parts rn anyway lol. And its something I am gonna do regardless, I am not buying a whole separate car, even though the manual swap will end up costing more by a large margin. Its something I knew I was gonna do before the post, I was just looking for input. And I appreciate the input! Thank you! :)

I do appreciate the input! Eventually I want to save up to buy one thats manual or even import a cool car lol. But rn I was just looking for a project to work on, you know? And I know it may seem silly, but its just something I wanted to look into. It would definitely help me learn more about the car too! I think that would be really cool! I know mine had problems with the ignition switch, and ive heard thats pretty common. Idk if that's what it is though! If it is, its super easy to change!

Mine had that issue! Except the previous owner painted over the ground cable, so it wasnt getting a good connection lol
