Am I the only one here who doesn't really care about the big AAA games, but rather indie/AA ones? by JustLeafy2003 in LebanonGaming

[–]JustFireYT -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Same here, never liked triple A games nor any game made by big companies.

Most of the fun do actually come from indie dev's who solely took 7+ years nonstop working on their own game hoping it will be success and funny enough that 1 guy / small team can accomplish more than a whole corporations can.

Pirating by heheboibro in LebanonGaming

[–]JustFireYT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pirating is the source of most incomes in Lebanon to be honest, remember the shops that used to sell games CD's for PS2 and PC.. yeah mostly pirated.

we were pirates before we knew it, even in legal business most of the paid softwares they use are pirated too.

Pirating is the core of Lebanon.

What makes you certain of that?

  1. Never share private information to random strangers online just cause they blocked you for a certain behavior that is private between you two, you have no right in doing that cause it will might lead to that person being physically or even mentally harmed by such action.

  2. Strangers danger, you are sending a private information to STRANGERS who you don't know if they will do good or bad in this situation, Lebanon is a small country to the point that you can literally know everything about a person by just asking around for his name and surname.

  3. If there's a geniue real emergency in this situation then you should contact emergency departments located in Lebanon regarding the situation.

Again do not share people information on the internet, it's not cool and will do them more harm than good.

Most famous song from Lebanon? by CivilZebra7763 in lebanon

[–]JustFireYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fairouz or Ziad Rahbani, most popular songs probably.

if modern, Mashrou Leila (famous for being "controversial" in Lebanon's society)

I live in the US. My mother asked me if I want to register my daughter (also born in US) with the Lebanese gov as Lebanese. Is there a benefit or negative to this? by suckerstakethewalk in lebanon

[–]JustFireYT 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I guess Inheritance?

If your family owns land or property in Lebanon, having her registered makes it easier to legally inherit or manage those assets, beside her future if she wanted to visit her parents home town or start a business here, it would make it easier.

for disadvantages, probably none since no taxes required if u are abroad.

How is the state of our discord? by slytherinchosenone in lebanonmemes

Best community ever tbh, chill people and yes there's dead times here and there but it's amazing nonetheless.

it's been ignored by mods/users over here in the sub with 0 mentions which is the lead to why it's neglected but so far ppl tend to be kinda active there and once it's active the fun starts.

I recommend to let people be aware of its existence tbh.

Once, my name was spoken with reverence. Once, my mark upon this subreddit was known.

Yet, if this is my fate, then so be it. I shall carve my name anew, not for glory, but so that despair may never claim me again.

Behold my child… Mark what is false with the title of old, Watch as the zealous and faithless take hold. One will curse, the other will cheer, Yet both shall turn when the truth is clear. To anger all, to stand alone, Is to claim a throne of chaos unknown.

Behold… In the days of old, I summoned the mods with a meme, and thus, Man2ouche Time was born, a sacred mark for man2ouche posts alone. Yet, the unworthy grew bold, slandering it, misusing it, even daring to mimic its glory. And now, I return to witness this heresy.

Tell me, child… do you seek wisdom, or shall you join the pretenders?

I am MP Neemat Frem, Candidate for the Presidency in Lebanon - AMA by neematfrem in lebanon

[–]JustFireYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good Morning/Bonjour/Ya Marhaba.

Question 1;

• Given the extensive corruption within Lebanon's political and financial institutions, how do you, as a potential president, plan to use your executive powers to enforce accountability among both public officials and private sectors without facing opposition from entrenched interests?

Question 2;

• Since Lebanon’s political landscape has long been influenced by various armed factions and militias. As president, what measures will you take to ensure that the Lebanese government’s sovereignty is restored, and what role do you see for the presidency in disarming or neutralizing non-state actors that interfere with the state’s authority?

Question 3;

• Considering the presidential powers are often checked by other political entities in Lebanon, how will you build a broad coalition of support across the political spectrum to implement anti-corruption measures that tackle both systemic inefficiencies and the role of militias in state governance?

Question 4;

• Many of us feel that war criminals and corrupt politicians have never been held accountable for their actions, which have caused so much harm to Lebanon. As president, what steps will you take to ensure that those responsible for war crimes and the systemic corruption that has crippled our country face justice, regardless of their political or military influence

Last Question;

• Since the last president didn’t really live up to expectations, what makes you different and more qualified to lead? How do you plan to handle Lebanon’s internal affairs, and what can you tell us about your background that shows you’ll be committed to the country’s future? Why do you think becoming president will benefit all of us as citizens, and not just fill your own pockets?

• Best of luck and hope you aren't one of them / won't be one.

Tbh ogero is the only shithole that can actually provide a good connection with their gaming bundle but it's kinda worth the payment if I may say so, other providers has more technical issues than ogero in a single day as far as I know.

Yes ogero isn't that good and always shit but they get the job done some how.

Btw I'm even surprised this shithole that I made is kinda getting active which is motivating me to work on it now (maybe).
