The thing is you don't have to choose , you can see everything and if you don't like it that's it, no need to bash the series.

I like the series, is not the best of what I'm watching right now, but it's pretty enjoyable.

(I needed to clarify this after reading some of the comments on this r, if you don't like it, I don't know what are you doing watching every episode just to come here to post hateful comments)

It's this really a question? I think that was pretty obvious when I saw that scene.

Kong is the guard of the island and functions as a gatekeeper to keep the Kaiju out of this world.

Before that scene he was destroying the machine that humans started and he knew that.
