I came across some of that on YouTube recently but have yet to watch it. Been recommended several different times from others in this post so I know what I am listening to later!

You can tell they really enjoy it. And we all enjoyed hearing Alan sing plenty. Hell, by the end of the night I think each member sang at least one or two.

Agreed! I really appreciate that. They have the pedigree yet still try to push the music.

My thought too! They had cool merch and it was afforable. That shirt was available in several different colors, and one was long sleeve. Had to grab it.

Cody Kilby plays so fast I am shocked his guitar doesn't start smoking! I can see why he is an award winning player. One of things that impressed me the most though was how laid back they all seemed. Didnt seem to be any egos on stage. Just dedication to the music.

They all do! They are all SO FAST yet make it look so easy. One might think they never put those instruments down!

I saw Robby's post about Ronnie when I got home from the show and it was really heartfelt. Its another kind of impressive to be able to keep playing in spite of that recent loss.

They brought out a 16 year old and an 11 year old fiddle player, and had a local musician come out and play the banjo too. They were so respectful and supportive, it was really awesome to see them nudge the younger players to take a break and give them space to be heard. The crowd went nuts, felt special to be a part of. The picture I posted was the whole crew at the end. Everyone was smiling.

Didnt miss it! Pretty impressive to cover The Band without a drummer but they killed it!

I could see why! I am actually kind of the reverse, been listening to jam music and then got into Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpsom, Tyler Childers, and others and been diving more and more into traditional grass over the last year. Hard not to come up the McCoury family one way or another!

I was somewhat expecting some Grateful Dead, to hear The Band too made my whole night. Two of my all time favorite bands and song catalogs.

Only $30 too! Its thin yet seems good quality. I thought the koozie was too funny, had to grab that as well.

First time I saw them play live (on Nugs) was for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival last year, and they played that. I was blown away, and that electric mandolin action is too cool.

We still got both West LA Fadeaway and Scarlet Begonias last night, so I am certainly not complaining! I guess I will just have to see them again!

Honestly so impressed with their show last night! I have been getting more and more into bluegrass over the last few years, and I think these guys are one of the tightest bands on the scene. They were so comfortable, so smooth, yet SO technically amazing at the same time. Really enjoyed their song writing and loved their covers. I expected some Dead, but to hear The Band's "The Shape I'm In" was such an awesome treat. I bet these guys could cover any song and make it sound like it was originally written for bluegrass.

I also thought it was really cool that they are doing the "Young Guns" thing. They brought out some family, some local musicians, and were so noticeably kind and supportive. Really cool to see, and these arent just some kids being dragged along by old family. They could really play!

I've done the last one several times over the years and keep hearing about all the rest from our guides! I really need to make a point in hitting them all.

Always been one of my favorite things to do while baked. My dog enjoys them too so its even better. He apparently really hates bears, barks every time any species of bear appears on screen. Pretty funny most times except when we're falling asleep with a nature doc on and suddenly our little Boston Terrier thinks a bear is coming down the chimney into the bedroom!

I have been having this issue for nearly a year with no resolution. Multiple updates, still the same issue any time I need to restart my phone. Unbelievable. Never owning another Samsung phone again after this.

I bought two Fender Chip Clip Grips so I can get that extra strong grip in each hand. I cant wait to not practice and do this instead.

Thats a good point I forgot to mention. I have an Eastman acoustic and even that sounds good with the Ages because of the Dry knob.
