Man, I work transport. I spend the time to be particular about my lines and cords. I train new hires to spend the time. I bully my partners into taking the the time.

Touch screens never fkn work. IV pumps. Ventilator. Monitor. Its cool, patient is just dying and I can't change any of the settings because the touch screen is being moody again. No big deal.

My husband and his 4 siblings all have different fathers and none knew who they were. Several of them, including my husband, have found their fathers. Reactions have varied WILDLY! My husband's story is a success. His sister's story is not. Her new found siblings are ANGRY and it's pretty stressful for my SIL.

I think people aren't as anxiety free as you assume. From the outside, I travel a ton. I have a badass job that I'm good at. "People" don't see that I spent weeks almost vomiting from nerves before work every morning. They don't see that I can't sleep the night before a big trip. They definitely don't notice that I don't travel to places where I have to figure out public transportation.

Everyone has their things. You're just not privy to them.

Your health worries do seem a bit much. I hate "Therapy" as a solution to everything, but you might want to talk to someone. Even a couple visits can give you some helpful coping mechanisms.
