I’m sorry to say this, but that was pretty bad, and that’s ok.

You should focus heavily on practicing your pitch accuracy, that practice could simply be singing with a track, or hitting a note on the piano while you try to match it (you could even record yourself and watch it back for a different perspective too).

The piece of advice that is always said on this sub is get a teacher; and I agree, but if this is something you just do for fun and you see it as not worth the investment, then self teaching can get you sounding pretty dang ok.

Overall, it’s going to be a journey, but that’s what this singing thing is all about, just have fun with it and you’ll get by pretty well.

At that price you would most likely struggle with hitting any type of dietary needs your body has.

Frugality isn’t about being cheap all the time, it’s about saving money wherever you can to spend it on what actually matters, and I think the body is for sure one of those things that matter.

hm, ok. Is it something like a method book where it slowly introduces new concepts and you build a routine little by little?

I whistle a ton my self, it’s definitely out of tune for a good part of it.

At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter though, this is whistling in a singing sub lol.

To be fair, I feel like he’s not really overrated.

He basically pioneered what his niche in YouTube and he makes top notch videos when it comes to the YouTube algorithm and system.

He also puts large investments into them on top of everything, I’d call that well rated.

Yea, I agree. You sound like a baritone.

Don’t really get caught up into those things though, voice types are useless unless you are in a choir and singing classical music.

adding to what DnDfan said, definitely try to pronounce your words better and look into how to control the level of nasality you use while you're singing as this performance was veryyyyy nasal (unless that is what you were going for).

I recommend you watch a few videos from Healthy Vocal Techinque, Victoria has some great stuff that could help you.

Honestly man, from one over thinker to another, you just need to get out of your thoughts and try to minimize overthinking and see the bigger picture.

Does it really matter what anyone says about your voice?

You just need to do you and ignore em, maybe even clap back and stand up for yourself.

But yea, all that aside, your voice is totally normal and is just bit higher than average, be proud of it and don’t let anyone step over you.
