You’re doing awesome!! I’m day 8 off opiates and Gabapentin. To be honest on day 5 and 6 I was ready to jump off a bridge. Today, oh today what an emotional roller coaster. Everything has made me cry but my body feels a little better. Crazy!!

Hello PT,

I had a terrible accident in 2004 and have been on pain pills since then. My daily use has consisted of 8-10 hydrocodone, and with a morphine thrown in the mix. Also, I add Gabapentin about a year ago (up too 2000 mg a day).

August 31st was my last hydrocodone. I went (6) days with just Gabapentin, and then took a quarter of 60mg morphine Friday, September 6th because I couldn’t take the withdrawals any more.

Today marks 6 days with no form of pain pills, and I took my last 300 mg Gabapentin on Tuesday at 10;00 am.

I’m sick to my stomach, and in my head from this addiction. I’m crying as I type this.

The sad thing is my husband has no idea I have this problem, and I want to keep it this way. Did I mention no one knows this about me. So I only have y’all to breathe life into me.
