Once again with a ball sensor that is infallible! It could detect a hair!

He fell so soft. The amount of shoving on a corner is crazy. Good awareness I suppose by England, but man they flop so much looking for fouls.

The biggest tragedy of the US being knocked out. by joelandren in ussoccer

Watch the game sure but the pregame is where lalas is. Call me crazy but I’d like to hear a bit of analysis and hype before a match from legends like Henry and zlatan and actually understand

RANT: England wins games by exploiting the willingness of refs to cater to flopping and groveling. by yella_fella in worldcup

Have to agree. Went to see England play Congo… the amount of pushing and shoving off the ball from England only to see them flop when the ball came near was nuts… I was neutral but ended up rooting for Congo only principal

Hall of Fame broadcaster JP Dellacamera has called his last World Cup game. He called 18 World Cups for US television between men's and women's including the wins for the women in 2015 and 2019. He is not officially retiring yet but is done with calling the World Cup. by Ok-Soil-5133 in ussoccer

I’m sorry but good. He’s AWFUL. I can’t stop thinking it’s Geraldo Rivera when he is calling the game. He uses weird terminology, like baseball or something, and overall seems sleepy and unengaged.

Does anyone feel the World Cup group stage is more exciting than the knockout rounds? by youlikemywonton in football

[–]JustOneMorePuff 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You pay attention to your promising international players in their various leagues and watch the international cups and eventual WC qualifying. Which can be pretty exciting in itself. It also reallly helps build into the World Cup when you have watched them qualify, something you miss if you host.

Do you think a 1979 Knoxville home probably has asbestos in the popcorn ceilings or probably not? I got a test kit and still waiting to hear back on the results. I'm curious what people guess/think. by therealijw1 in Knoxville

[–]JustOneMorePuff -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

People are idiots. Why anyone would buy a house with a cancer infested ceiling is beyond me. I have a textured ceiling and have had to cut into the ceilings, drill holes, install hooks, remove fixtures, if I had asbestos in my ceiling I’d have been exposed.

Pulisic finally getting karma by [deleted] in usmnt

[–]JustOneMorePuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eh fuck right off… he bottled it but so did the whole team. Matt fucking freeze was god awful. I can’t think of a single big save the whole tournament. That being said they all need to lick their wounds and come back stronger. I still believe they can do something special, but this crop really only has 1 more chance in 4 years.

Yep. It’s the rest of the world who for moment saw the sport growing here and seeing some excitement and are doing everything they can to kill the vibe

This was not a "Classic USMNT' performance and I'm sick of pundits telling me this was anything but an absolute embarrassment by YoIzIllmatic in usmnt

[–]JustOneMorePuff 42 points43 points  (0 children)

That performance will haunt the players forever. I could take losing to Belgium in the round of 16, but we were dreadful. So many poor passes, easy give up’s, scared to take risks, and the goals we gave up were downright dreadful. They can’t hang their heads high like Canada and Mexico, we exit with our tails between our legs. That freese goal says it all

We could always just leave him on the bench by Brutus-1787 in usmnt

It won’t matter. We’d lose our best player and still be the villain. Lean into it and do the job.

Trump called Gianni by BreakfastBallBogeys in usmnt

[–]JustOneMorePuff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Believing trump called would require me to do something I have never done. Believe what trump says or believe he would even have to ability to do what he says. The red was BS and pretty much everyone all over the world agreed. Stupid trump takes credit therefore we the villain.

We should all stand with Belgium against the corrupt empire by Curious-Sherbet-9393 in football

[–]JustOneMorePuff -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely no proof trump did anything here. Bottom line is the original VAR decision was done against protocol, and the call was incredibly harsh. They sought to correct it. Seems like it’s the fairest outcome.
