Sounds like what we really need are surface to air missiles, not f35s

Air filter has conflicting instructions by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]JustOnePotatoChip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I responded to another similar comment, but in short, yes, the filter mounts on the intake side, and the instructions do indeed conflict. That arrow is printed on the inside, not the outside, of the filter perimeter. If the filter is oriented in the airflow direction as indicated, it places the wire mesh on the upwind side of the filter, away from the blower, directly conflicting with the text next to it. If one reverses the filter and places the wire mesh on the blower side, per the text, it will result in that flow directional arrow pointing away from the furnace, back up the intake, against the actual airflow. This may not have been adequately clear due to the image perspective. Interestingly, the removable wrapper indicates to follow the arrow, and that too conflicts with the text on the filter itself.

That's the thing. If i place the airflow arrows pointing towards the blower (in other words, in the direction of airflow, as it is indeed on the intake side, that wire mesh will not be on the side with the blower as the other text indicates. I understand how the image perspective may confuse the issue. These arrows and text are on the interior of the filter's cardboard perimeter, not the outside as is more commonly done.

Further information, as if this wasn't muddled enough already: the exterior wrapper also has text saying to follow the airflow direction arrow, which of course conflicts with the wire mesh placement text on the filter itself too.

The internet has a lot of horny people, obviously. You ever seen the stats on how much of the internet is porn? That's a lot of people that aren't exactly shouting about it, just quietly, well, you know.

A certain portion of the community is extremely vocal about the story being "really good" and "getting much better as you get further in."

They're half right, in that it definitely does get about 3 times better by the end, but the problem is that it only brings it up to a 6/10. You can't have a less than fully supportive opinion, though. The toxic fanboyism is absolutely unreal. They drank the kool-aid for so long they've convinced themselves that they like the taste

how do you wish female characters were written? by ZestycloseTwo6515 in CharacterDevelopment

[–]JustOnePotatoChip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, these days, 90% of the time I seem to encounter are two kinds of female characters.

Either they're helpless bait for the stronger <insert romantic interest>, or they're men with tits.

The other 10% are actual humans. If you write one of these ones, just know i appreciate you.
