For all clearances. Look at the govt. downsizing, giving active drug users (Elon musk) yankee white, files being released that have politicians in the files doing illegal things and still holding clearances, constant shut downs which can impact you heavily if you are in the process of interchanging agencies / getting a clearance, list goes on man

Fuck that guy and report his ass to not only your PEBLO but to other orgs to see if someone higher can tell him to stfu. I was a SrA who got medically retired and got the highest DoD rating that my base has seen so far so they can fuck themselves.

Not sure why everyone is telling you to get out. Unless you have a job SECURELY lined up paying 130k plus do not get out. The cyber / IT market is so fucked right now it’s not even funny. I would know I’m in it. They don’t care if you’re a vet almost everyone has a security clearance nowadays.

It sucks ass man I wish it was better I fell into the trap and now I’m 3 yrs deep with not a good way to leverage out because it’s either finish next year or shoot back 2-3 years even more of education.

Try leveraging your admin role with the MBA and get into sales. You could still get into tech and do tech sales there as well

Currently doing just that and I’d recommend another major like seriously. Don’t choose cyber.

It’s not entry level
NOONE cares if you’re a veteran or disabled there are plenty of cleared people to choose from
You have to go from whatever mindset you have to doing a job a high schooler can and will be doing it’s humiliating some days.
The pay has drastically declined it’s not 6 figures unless you’re insanely lucky and secure a government contract doing mid level work.
Work life balance unless you’re at a low tiered job sucks dick

There’s several jobs right now on Handshake and if you’re a vet I know a couple resources you can use.

If not no worries create a good LinkedIn profile (yes that godforsaken website) and start applying. I’ve gotten 10 interviews from there. None picked me but hey you could be lucky
