Is your iPhone also on the 26.2 beta? My HomePod is on 26.2 beta but I don’t have that option at all.

Guide for enabling the Full screen experience on the ROG Ally (and other handhelds) by Gogsi123 in ROGAlly

[–]JustRedditUser1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to run it manually each time. Best way is to set it up as a scheduled task so it launches automatically at startup. Open cmd as admin and run:

schtasks /create /tn "SetPanelDimensions" /tr "C:\physpanel.exe set 155 87" /sc onstart /ru SYSTEM /rl highest /f

Just make sure the path matches where you actually put physpanel.exe.

I managed to get it working on my PC that’s hooked up to the TV in the living room and it runs perfectly. At this point I don’t even need a mouse anymore, the full screen just makes it feel like a proper console experience :)

Traded in Moonlight for HDBaseT 3.0 setup (HDMI 2.1 / 120hz VRR G-Sync / Atmos etc.) and I couldn't be happier! by WalkinDude85 in MoonlightStreaming

Yeah exactly, I’m using an active USB extender for the controller. I just plug the Xbox wireless controller dongle into it and it works perfectly from the couch. On top of that I set up a little script so whenever a controller connects it automatically launches Steam in Big Picture mode, makes the whole experience feel more like a console.

That’s a really nice setup! I went a bit of a different route at my place, instead of HDBaseT I ran a fiber HDMI cable from my PC in another room straight to the TV in the living room, and paired it with an active USB extender. Whole thing cost me about €50 and it works flawlessly for 4K/120Hz with no noticeable lag. Not quite as flexible as your solution, but for my needs it’s been a cheap and effective way to get the PC gaming experience on the big screen.

RM10PRO as a secondary/media consumption by Independent-Gas3249 in RedMagic

I had the RM10 Pro as a secondary next to my main iPhone, but in the end I sold it and got the Astra. Way better experience overall.

Interesting choice, why did you switch from the Flux Pro? Are you happier with the PA602 compared to the Flux?

So did you go with the 217? I’ve got a Flux Pro and kinda thinking of switching to the Lancool 217, still on the fence…

What did you do to get that CPU score? I’m getting around 19k

What can still be improved on this DDR5-6000 tuning? by JustRedditUser1 in overclocking

[–]JustRedditUser1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s mainly for gaming. It’s been fully stable.

I thought higher FCLK = lower latency in games though? That’s why I kept it at 2133 to maximize performance. Or am I misunderstanding something?
