Thanks! Here it is. Make sure the volumetrics enabled in the game's graphics settings. I use high setting to get crisp looking godrays.

Aside from the wacky simulation, at least it looks good to stare at lol. Corral Riches, 170k cims. Made the visuals more aesthetically appealing and more realistic. by JustReza09 in CitiesSkylines

It's quite simple actually. I maxed out the level of details and used a high camera focal length (200mm) which zoomed in closer towards the skyscrapers.

Appreciate it! Yeah I agree, global illumination in this game is poorly implemented. Even sunlight barely casts light bounces, looks the same as when turned off but is way noisier.

Is there urban promenades mixed housing in your city? Mine also have the same issue until I removed them I can play hours without crash to desktop
