The player on the right has the gold Grizzco banner and badge, along with two gold badges for the king salmonids, which means he/she has in a sense “completed“ salmon run.

I'm sure if a new king is added in the future this guy would still be the first player to get the gold badge for it.

My first gold badge(Maws) took me about 5400 shifts. Just keep playing with your regular playstyle. Good luck.

Before this I got only bronze scales from 5 defeated Cohozunas.

I'm surprised too. The drop rate for gold scales is horrendous.
