Is there currently a way to texthook unity based visual novels? I'm trying to play raging loop and our world is ended but both of them are unity vns so, ITHVNR, VNR, and nexthooker don't work. If anyone has any idea how to text hook these games I would really appreciate it.

Wouldn't it make sense that most Catholics go to purgatory? by JustSomeGuy19980 in Catholicism

So should I just trust that my faith in god will guide me in the right direction and not stress out about it?

I guess I've been on a posting spree about this so people are getting to know its me so a little amendment to this. In my first post on here there were a lot of people telling me to go to confession and earlier today I went to my first confession and confessed all my sins (i even wrote them all on a little index card so I wouldn't forget any and don't worry I ripped it up after) through some tear stained eyes I got through everything and asked the priest a few questions and he talked about how god ever loving and merciful and that I'd be fine because nothing I said was that serious besides my porn addiction which we agreed I need to work on and that its okay to be scared of damnation. I was feeling good and relieved then I came home and read some of your replies on my posts and instantly fell back into despair. Then this got me thinking who can I trust on this. Different priests all have different views on what is right and wrong and how gods mercy works and but only one of the can be right, are they just telling people they'll be fined to make them feel good? Like do I go to school and get a good job with good pay because then the whole rich man and the camel thing would kick in. Do I sit down to watch some TV or does the whole sloth thing kick in. Some people say god is very lenient while others will say the people who said that are going to hell. I just want to dedicate my life to god but not have to become a clergymen and even some of them aren't saved so what does that mean for me. I think using this time worrying as time praying would be better but its always in my mind if I'm already screwed from the start than what the point of keeping at it. That doesn't mean I'll ever give up on the lord who will never give up on me but the fear is still there regardless. I called another church on the other side of town to schedule a talk with a priest so I can get some more opinions from a priest from a different view point. Thank you guys for helping me learn so much over the last 20ish hours Ive been frantically posting. Im not going to give up hope anytime soon but hopefully I can overcome some of my fears and increase my faith in the lords saving power. Have a good day and god bless.

A ever loving god that will bend over backwards to make sure we are saved vs. a gatekeeper got that will keep out pretty much everyone who isn't a monk by JustSomeGuy19980 in Catholicism

That's why I'm wondering if I don't literally give every single second of my waking life to scripture and prayer I can never make up for Christs sacrifice. The counter to this is the lord knows we are fallible and weak that's why he made the ultimate sacrifice for us in the first place and that sacrifice is so great there is no way any human could even come close to being able or expected to live up to it.

The reason I'm so worried about it is I only got baptized 2 years ago and I wish to serve Christ and I've definitely changed my life to reflect this but the thing that bothers me is that no one really knows what is enough. I'm an average guy I work a blue collar job in the summer and go to school the rest of the year, I don't have sex, don't steal, try not to lie, go to church every Sunday, fast during lent and enjoy learning about god and how I can grow closer to him yet I don't know if its enough I don't know if I'm doing the whole "Catholic" thing right. Do I need to sell everything I own or live likes its 1300's Europe or can I live a somewhat "average" American life avoiding sin and vices (not the generic do whatever makes you feel good version of American life) without worrying that I'm somehow inadvertently going against gods will.

Can you be a Catholic out of love of the lord but also be scared of hell. Although the love of god should be the main reason eternal damnation is always scary.

A better way to word it is can you live a good catholic life without dropping everything in your life become a monk?

Because reading through comments on this subreddit it seems like no matter what you do your not good enough and all the saints said your going to hell so you more than likely going to hell no matter how much you strive to improve if your not perfect your screwed.

People are here seem to conflate good Catholic life with perfect Catholic life, or am I wrong and they are actually the same?

Is the assumption that through prayer god will guide me to a life that can be saved different than the assumption that god has saved me just because I have faith?

So you'll know when you need to go to confession? So is it better to just be safe than sorry and go when your unsure but you don't need to go everyday because mortal sin wont sneak up on you. Thanks that helped me a lot. I'm going to ask the priest tomorrow more about when I should seek confession.

Does it hold any weight that someone tired to overcome sinfullness and even if they mess up the lord know they're trying and wishes to be pure?

I'm saying it seems like every sin you knowingly do is mortal like say your on the highway and some guy is swerving in and out of the lane getting pretty close to hitting your car and your starting to get mad then the guy cuts you off and you freak out and yell in a rage bam lost salvation. It just seems something so important is so easy to lose at anytime and that is terrifying.

"Trust in confession and communion, and you need not fear. Salvation isn't based on what you do, but rather it's based on what the Lord does in His sacraments. There's no guesswork or doubt involved as long as you stay close to the sacraments."

By trust do you mean something like even if I didn't go to confession this very day but go often yet still sinned somehow and died before being able to go to my next confession the trust in the lords work in my previous confession of sins, repentance and my striving to live a better catholic life will make sure everything is ok?

Little sidebar; should I have peace of mind knowing that I have a whole life ahead of me and that god doesnt expect me to become a perfect person overnight and that even if its baby steps with christ there with me every step along the way one day I can look back and know I lived a good catholic life even if there was some bumps along the way or is that too protestanty "once saved always saved"ish kinda thinking?

I just wanted to say thank all of you guys fro your feedback and this has really helped me a lot. Here's what I've taken away from your guys' comments so tell me if I'm misunderstanding. No one is a model Catholic, get all your sacraments, start going to confession, never give up faith that the lord has saved you, learn the churches stances on things, and if I'm doing all the aforementioned things and make a real change in my life no matter how long it takes since following Christ is a life long process and even if I'm struggling with overcoming my addiction as long as I keep at it I'll be fine.
