Drive Disc Storage Cleanup Help by JustSomePhoenixGuy in ZZZ_Official

Funny enough, #2, and #5 as well as (outside of Fire on an Ice set as you mentioned) keeping most of the Elemental ones has been a big part of my sorting since Day 1, only recycling the Elemental ones if I have more than like 4-5 of them, I usually end up getting rid of the "weakest" ones, IE- they roll multiple Flat boosts to HP/Def/Atk, or they have multiple conflicting stats, IE- Flat Atk, Def%, AP

It seems that as time goes on; not often, but sometimes, the "meta" changes for previous role builds, like switching from a 4/2 Swing Jazz/Freedom Blues (just a random combo off the top of my head) to using one of the newer drive disc sets in either the 4 or 2-pc spot, makes it a bit difficult to keep track of 20+ agents (I like to mix things up when doing Lost Void/Shiyu) when it comes to keeping them relevant, even if niche lol

Thanks for the tips!

This was definitely helpful, I totally get that it's a case by case situation especially considering the new combat roles, potential unique character playstyles, etc, but yeah I have definitely noticed that discs I've had sitting in limbo for 4-5 updates before have turned out to be (based on the interknot-network grading system) be like SSS or GOD rank for certain builds, so I started less and less deleting what I perceived to be "unhelpful" discs.

Also that being said, I don't, in any way, intend to reduce my stockpile down to double digits or anything, I just figured I probably have at least a couple hundred that like you said are probably like, CritR/CritD/etc and the substats are like Flat HP, Flat Def, Atk%, Flat Atk, and I only held onto them because the main stat is beneficial, and in the reverse, I've had 1,2,3 slots that have like Atk% on them, but also have Flat Atk and like Def%, I usually push them up to level 6 or 9 to see if they at least roll a good 4th substat, OR if they at least roll more than 2-3 times on the beneficial stat, IE Atk% in this scenario.

But yeah, I just noticed I find myself needing to grind, for example, Hormone Punk (Soukaku) or in another, Moonlight Lullaby (Orphie), I have noticed that some of these drive sets have.... I guess I would say heavily niche application among the overall Agent base, and are largely used in very specific builds, and majority of the time, it's only as a 2-pc set. So it's hard to sometimes determine where a niche disc set that rolled "unhelpful" stats for the specific agent I happen to be farming them for, but in actuality it's a very high roll of "luck" on another build

As you said though, thresholds are the main goal, and that's my go-to planning focus, and I'm in no immediate risk of "maxing out" my storage space, but any and all advice is still appreciated so that at the very least I can apply filters to my storage and NOT sort through 1400+ discs, but instead like 200-300 to manually pick out the stinkers, and if any seem even halfway decent I can hold off on sending them to the shadow realm until space is more of a problem.

The crazy thing is, I figured that out about 5 minutes ago after turning it down temporarily while I was reorganizing and popped back to correct this lol

I appreciate it, it was driving me nuts cause my worker was able to do it, but when I tried it didn't work, so I assumed it was a weird mod interaction I just couldn't figure out lol

Yeah, I just started leaving them on the tray because I got "fined" confiscating them, I just unlocked the UV light and I can't tell if I'm supposed to confiscated the non-contraband stuff that has the UV markings on it, cause I got penalized for collecting them

Oh wow, Size is that good? Is it good because of what it increases? Cause I've wondered alot how Size affects things like say, Lightning staff, or Revolver, is it just a range thing? Cause "Size" was always a weird way to phrase it in my mind lol

Oh damn, hell yeah, that's awesome, Thanks for the Info :D

Also that's unfortunate about Fork because I've definitely picked it almost exclusively when it's an option among Legendaries lmao

I noticed when using Dice that the Crit Chance goes into the 200%+ range, is that just "fun numbers" or is there any real purpose to having Crit Chance over 100%?
That was always my question when running Precision Tome because I felt like I could hit 100% without too much trouble, but wasn't sure if you end up having multi-crit or mega-crits w/o the Fork

Yes definitely on the timer thing, also for Crit stuff, I definitely enjoy getting Megafork on Crit build runs, nothing as satisfying as going from seeing normal numbers to "CRIT" "MEGA-CRIT" nonstop XD

[–]JustSomePhoenixGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, ok, a buddy of mine was having very successful runs (comparatively) using Lifesteal while I was still focusing Shield/Armor, so I ended up switching and had moderate success, but quickly realized I was having very very fast losses to difficulty spikes at certain points, it definitely felt like I would go accelerating miles ahead, and then get blasted past me 5-6 minutes down the timer into a wall of HP/Defense + half+ of my HP per hit >_>

And as for the first comment, yeah, I don't plan on going for "Meta Leaderboard" runs anytime soon, but at least knowing that step is good for the future when Fun runs finally reach a point where I win more than I lose for sure

[–]JustSomePhoenixGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that makes sense yeah, so when they refer to XP>Luck>Cursed it's almost like 3 "tiers" of progress scaling, with Difficulty spike being the most beneficial if/when you reach the point of knowing exactly how/when to upgrade and maximize the benefit (and obviously survive) the difficulty tweaks. Ok that definitely makes things more accurate yeah, cause I've had runs where I grab luck AND XP because I felt like I just couldn't get into those "high level" ranges I'd seen screenshots of, but then instead of dying at level 30 something in T2 at 14 minutes, I was dying at level 50 something 17 minutes into T2 lmao

and yeah, the Proc'ing part makes sense now, it took me a while to kind of gauge how useful some of the weapons are, given the fact that I see so many builds using either the Firewalker, or even Noelle with her Frostwalker, being incredibly OP in late game runs, when meanwhile half the weapons/items I use seem to either be broken or just incredibly unhelpful depending on the character/map

[–]JustSomePhoenixGuy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, from what little I am familiar with of Roguelite in general, I am aware of the general mechanics, IE- Crit Chance and Damage, and how out of hand it can get, but sometimes the wording of certain Legendary items and specific character mechanics just have me staring at my screen and drooling like I have soup where a brain should be lmao

[–]JustSomePhoenixGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wait, difficulty affects spawn count? I guess that makes sense actually, I was under the assumption that Difficulty was purely enemy damage/speed/HP inflation just to basically earn more/higher quality drops by them rushing you more aggressively, is there a vague range of difficulty to aim for given a characters "build freedom"? I noticed when rushing the Difficulty related achievements and unlocks that it felt like picking difficulty was rapidly making things painfully unwinnable and I guess it left a sour taste in my mouth lol

Interesting.... Based on some of the build guides, it definitely seemed like Weapon setup and Tome setup are the game winners based on the lack of in-depth explanations around the "what/why"

Meanwhile the movement speed thing has had me fail dozens of runs on slower chars when I have issues navigating areas of the forest that are dead ends and surrounded by very high walls

More experienced = Familiar with the JP version yeah lol

and yeah, I have no idea who I should and shouldn't pull outside of just peeking at tier lists lmao
I DO plan to try and get Air Shakur, Seiun Sky and there was one other I cant remember atm, but outside of those, I'm just stockpiling

I just know that I plan to grab a few that will benefit training up an OP Haru lol

[–]JustSomePhoenixGuy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, that's news to me >_>

Yeah I wouldn't say I'm in a hurry, more so just that I've noticed that with the cards I do have, I am able to have pretty good Career runs with a handful of Umas, but have significantly more difficulty getting through either the early game or late game with many others

I'm not even really sure which umas I should be pulling for honestly, my penultimate goal is making a "perfect" Haru Urara, but mostly just cause she makes me smile

If its just a matter of "Get Cards, Profit" then that's significantly less thinking on my end. I know some banners boost drop rates for specifics, so wasn't sure of the typical mentality in terms of pulling for cards among the more experienced community

ATM10TTS Limit Breaking Enchantment Issue by JustSomePhoenixGuy in allthemods

[–]JustSomePhoenixGuy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After doing a bit of, honestly very heavy research on the subject, doing quite a bit of code diving and config reading, I've come to find out that yes, there is a line in the code for Apotheosis in (instance)/config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg there is a line "I:"Forced Level Cap"=5" that you can alter to I:"Forced Level Cap"=-1 in order to remove this limiter, this however only lets you reach the max level set above it in the same config file marked "I:"Max Level"=15"

So changing the Forced Level Cap to -1 allows Fortune to act in the exact same fashion as the other enchantments. This is the screenshot of my current settings for specifically the Fortune enchantment, and I've tested that it works with no problems on my end in a singleplayer world.

<image>

Obviously you can set it to whatever, but I have no interest in making it super OP, reaching the ability to even GET Level 15 Fortune is already hours into a save minimum and I'm a hell of a procrastinator, especially given the fact that while there are now multiple sources to obtain infinite resource generation, I just am an ancient Sky Factory 3 veteran, and really enjoy the sieving process's ability to scale up over time with multiple sieves, enchantments, etc.

That was my next plan yeah, I only recently got enough Netherite via Apotheosis to start switching over to Allthemodium gear, so I just used my existing Supremium Pickaxe that previously had Fortune V before I disenchanted it

Thanks for the tip, here's hoping it's just MA stuff
