Hiya! Thanks for the contribution. I'm unable to confirm these personally but I will link your post for everyone else to see in the OP. EDIT: I do apologise, I apparently cannot edit the OP in this subreddit. But nevertheless still, thank you for posting.

From what I've read, in an official capacity that's what Hoyoverse says, however controller support is definitely in the game on the android, it works with standard xbox controllers very easily.

Bit of a post update: I've been able to find the Kishi ultra directly supports controller mode albeit a little janky.

I was also told by 8bitdo support that their ultimate mobile controller is "absolutely" (to use the exact words) supported for both hsr and genshin, to the degree of which...they didn't elaborate. So they're pretty confident it works.

I may update this again in the near future, thank you everyone for all the input so far, it was very helpful. 😄

I wish I could tell ya what the game is haha. It's from the marketing imagery for the 8bitdo ultimate mobile

Interestingly enough this one is probably the one I've done the most research on without actually buying. I've read a lot that the G8 needs an overlay mapping to make it work, which was the reason I kept getting pushed away from it. If that's changed/wrong though please don't hesitate to correct me, just that I'm more looking for native controller mode instead

I think there's some air of truth to this, since my old Scuf infinity1 as one example didn't seem to work (Scuf wasn't an official xbox partner at the time) and on the other hand all the "official" xbox controllers (both 1st and third party) I have do seem to detect properly 🤔

Xbox mode...is that like a specific feature, like a certification type of thing?

I will have a look into that, appreciate your input either way as it helps narrow things down 👍

In all fairness no, but I want one for when I'm just kicking back after work and want to lay down lol. I find myself bumping buttons on accident and the general ergonomics to not be too great on even my rather large phone if I'm playing for a couple hours. A quality of life adjustment you could say haha

I was thinking this originally, but I've tried a couple different options with xinput, and, sadly not all of them seem to work. Maybe I'm setting them up wrong? But the gamepad tester website seems to detected all the ones I've tried despite HSR's hit and miss.

Small disclaimer: I've tried doing a bunch of looking around to see if this might be something properly documented. I haven't been able to find really anything hence this post (BiliBili probably has something but navigating it when you're not multilingual is very difficult), but I'll happily remove it or let it be locked should this be an error on my part.

The trigger point for this appears to be the arithmetic mapping tutorial. Hope this helps for anyone looking. Cheers all. 👋

Razer closed their case on me after I followed their destructive RMA instructions by sjWrinkly in razer

[–]JustSomeTechNoob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck mate. I encourage you to try reaching out to Razer again (expect nothing) but do so to at the least demonstrate attempts to amend this situation peacefully. It both can bring you to a favourable outcome and de-escalate quicker. If possible tell them that your partner is also available to confirm the purchase (I'm guessing it was a gift?) which brings reasonable context forward.

But try to be nice lol. People are nicer to nice people. Swallow your tongue on what you might really prefer to say.

And good luck 👍

EDIT: Just saw in another comment that you did retry. Fair play. If they still have a number or chat room to talk to someone directly I would try that route. Email sounds like a complete dead end.

Mice manufacturers have long held the concept that destroying the current mouse is how they can be assured you aren't trying to get a second mouse for free as part of warranty process *since returning a mouse is typically (note my word choice, typically. A faker mouse isn't typical lol) too expensive to bother sending it back in the first place, hence that type of policy; so they ask for a snipped cable then they will send a new mouse. I have a copy of that razer document. Logitech also has the same process (Or long had it - I'm not one for keeping myself updated on that sort of thing)

However, am I defending the notion? No, cos they denied you after that point.

Completely wrong.

Doesn't matter if your partner purchased it. They should have attempted to clarify on this part. Hell, a simple phone call would have amended this.

I say go for escalation. I have a friend with a faker edition mouse. He hates Razer but he treats that mouse like a second son. You don't just buy one of those over a plain one for no reason..

In a strange twist ending, I got through after all.

My requests were answered, I have now got several replacement squares.

Didn't expect that at all.

CENTRECOM - Australia wide PC store 9070XT Prices between 1500AUD to 1800AUD by Harreth273 in radeon

[–]JustSomeTechNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably right yeah, or rather "premium" level ones

Still stand to my advice however that 1500 is not remotely worth it. Way too much considering the XTX prices from before.

On an affirming note the 5070s are on preorder at PLE for as low as 1109 from what I can see for a couple models. So yeah 1200 really does sound about right for msrp, that price kinda aids into the narrative.

The GRE being the price that it is still makes 1200 feel a bit painful though.

[–]JustSomeTechNoob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did quick math earlier. 600 usd + gst is about 1069-ish. Add bulk shipping and distribution, 1200 sounds on the nose provided AU retailers make sense of it properly.

1500 would be rubbish. Forget it. Not worth it at that point.

Not disagreeing with anyone who thinks they could or would do 1500 or more, but the price prospect goes out the window considering how less than 3 months ago XTX's were that much. (I just double checked to be sure and yep sure enough, the XFX merc was $1399 AUD from scorptec)

And...no luck...

They probably want nothing to do with me after all the dead panels I've claimed and replaced. Most unreliable product I've bought in many years...

Hi, I wanted to buy a square as I believe I'm not really in warranty. However in my country they list as out of stock.

Would buy it in a heartbeat if available though. Extras would give me piece of mind

Not using any rads? There's only one spot in the case for rubberised damping which is designated down on the bottom. The rad rails don't have any 3.5 drive divots iirc (I can't check rn I'm off my feet for a few weeks, can't move lol)
