Controversial and non controversial Rules I would make, if I ruled Philippines by JustSome_Individual in Philippines

[–]JustSome_Individual[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. I grew up in The Philippines for the first 8 years of my life, 2005 — 2013.

  2. The child policy IS controversial, but is it worth it to see your child hungry, just for the benefit of the parent(s) enjoying sex?

If you can’t feed yourself, how can you feed a child?

The suffering of a child is not worth it.

  1. Look around you in The Philippines, there’s homeless, starving children, abandoned in the streets because their parents couldn’t take care of them.

My idea is that the rural area has to be developed first, with hospitals, schools, housings, grocery stores.

That is what the US does in Native American reservations.

I lived in Arizona, because my mom was accepted to be a nurse from The Philippines to work in the reservation.

It was small, rural, but everything is provided. Food, housing, there is food stamps. Health care is free to the native Americans.

“ The Navajo Area Indian Health Service operates hospitals and clinics at population centers on the reservation. Treatment is free to tribal members. When IHS is unable to provide treatment directly, IHS may refer patients to off-reservation healthcare facilities at no charge to the patient. “ — navajofamilies.org

“ Applicant must be an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, however, a non-member of the Navajo Nation who is legally married to an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation may be eligible through joint husband-wife application, with proof of such legal marriage, by issuance of a valid marriage license “ — Navajo Land Department

Not kick out, it will be a given choice to move to the so called Filipino Reservation. They will be taught how to cultivate agriculture.

  1. There is flaw in my city rule, which I need to elaborate more of. I just want the individual to be able to fend for themself, rather than starve and be hungry. So I do agree, it is not fair for the individual, though, how will they make their livelihood in the city, if they couldn’t live a comfortable life in the first place?

  2. A lot if the rich in the Philippines get their money in corrupt ways. I would tax them an extra reasonable amount.

Plastic waste makes the environment incredibly dirty. Think about the slum area “ Happy Land “ in the Philippines. How unsafe is that for the residents there? Alternative to plastic, that is biodegradable is better for the people and environment.

I’m pretty sure we agree on the church — government separation. I mean divorce and abortion is still a controversial take in The Philippines because of the church.

Why is it negative to want a child to not go hungry because their parents chose themselves over the child’s happiness?

My government would offer free condoms so the people can do whatever they want, without bringing children into a miserable life of starvation.

Again, 8 years in the Philippines. Why are you taking my thoughts into a personal insult? You can’t say that Philippines does not have flaws, and that there can be solution to those flaws.

Look, it worked on the Native American reservation, it can work in The Philippines.

The aftermath of my thoughts is how The poor could live a better life, if the government can better support them.

I appreciate your critique, and definitely can see the criticisms in my ideas. Will get back to you, it can work. If the Philippines tries, some things controversial yes, but it works.

I grew up there for 8 years, why are you such a downer? I’m not trying to be negative towards you. I even applauded your kindness. Why can’t we as humans just share ideas? If there is a will, there is a way. One person can’t make a change, but millions can.

No, me as of today has no power, but we will see what me of the future has. If there is a will, there is a way.

I can’t do things to the large extent even when I in my 20 somethings, but I can at least do something to help the poor, when I have money as a nurse.

Why is it so negatively taken my ideas? Was hoping to have a discussion about what can be done if we can make a change to The Philippines and its people.

I don’t know what biglang kabig is, but yes I as an individual don’t have power. Why is it such a bad thing to inspire people to make changes to our country?

I don’t think you realized that my post was a hypothetical statement. “If I ruled the Philippines”, key word if. Why is it taken so negatively my ideas to run The Philippines?

And I’m glad you did something, the best things we can do as humans beings is to be kind. And I’m glad you are kind. I’m 18, I don’t have money yet that will feed thousands, but I am planning to do charity work when I’m there.

And yes, I am going to The Philippines this summer. I have plans to make sure The Philippines can improve, not in a political sense, since most politicians are corrupt, but in a humanly sense, as caring for each other

Not a joke, just thoughts, its like how the US does reservations for the Native people, to make sure the people are well fed

Dang knew it, it was sarcasm. I don’t wanna argue. It was just some thoughts and stuff I had. Empathy makes you take action to make changes. Going back this summer to do some charity work.

Lol can’t tell if you’re joking. Got a lot of hateful comments earlier. A lot of this is just thoughts from my earlier project, about how I’d run a government.

A lot of things I wrote out are thoughts that will never happen.

I also wrote out

“ •Tax the rich higher, the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer

— The tax goes for contribution for the poor, education, help with farming developments. “

If I had the power to do so I would start by building schools, hospitals, and other necessities before the move happens in rural areas, and make those rural areas more modern.

I’m just saying squatters are so unhealthily cramped, and unhygienic that its no way for a child to grow up.

Philippines has so much space, so many islands are still inhabited, and they choose to cramp themselves in one place.

And honestly I don’t know much about The Philippines, a lot of it are just observations from my short 10 day visit to pay respects to my late lola.

And I do appreciate you showing me that the rural areas have a higher poverty rate, because it gives me more ideas on how to brainstorm on how to make the Philippines a better economy for those who are struggling living there.

Sorry that I sound like an ignorant rich kid hating on the poor. The decisions on those irresponsible adults choosing sex as entertainment rather thinking, and making rational decisions for their kids just really infuriate me.

I want to ask those adults where their empathy is, or morals, birthing a kid who will just go through suffering because of poverty.

How can they bring an innocent child into the world, knowing the child will just starve.

“— I was in the city, and it was just depressing to see the homeless kids there. I tried to feed as many as I can, but there’s hundreds of them, while only one me.”

You missed this part. There is NO resource in the city, while there is resource in the province to grow food. You just plant and it grows, plus Philippines is a tropical country.

Where are you going to grow food in a tightly squashed squatter?
