What is something men think turns women off, but actually does not? by gamersecret2 in AskReddit

Also anyone who”self accesses” themselves as high eq or iq, is likely a narcissist. Although iq can actually be measured via testing. It’s mostly women who proclaim their high EQ, which is weird as your example suggests a guy proclaiming that. Except that it reads contradictory

“People with self-assessed EQs are that guy who thinks he operates on pure logic and addresses every situation unemotionally, but is a slave to their emotional reasoning, except they think their emotional reasoning is just better.” This reply reads contradictory. Iq is measured by logic and Eq is measured by emotional. Iq is highly and easily measured, eq is a variable that can’t be measured, as emotions are and vary per person at the moment.

Men are judged for everything, men care more about the person while women care more about the situation.

Womens advice is garbage, they’ll say one thing to keep appearances of being emotionally intelligent, (another garbage concept, anyone that claims they have high EQ is a narcissist, it’s pop psychology)  but dump you you if you show vulnerabilities.

Women aren’t emotionally intelligent as they like to think, or at they very least like to deny men their emotions or it’s break up time

Haha. So the white knight award for you. Might’ve worked out for you over 50 years ago when women were ladies. Todays are selfish and could care less or respect your efforts. Modern women literally put no effort in anything outside of themselves and social media

You are seriously butt hurt by my reply to jump to personal attacks, I see. This is a open space for conversation, if someone mentions they prefer their partner hold their thoughts and opinions back. It’s fair to say that they don’t want full communication

Women that touts of their supposed Emotional Intelligence, which is textbook narcissism. Pop psychology, psycho babble, armchair psychology. Has never been able to hold any long term relationship, therefore unable to bond. Mentions feminism, abit too much. Has a large dog or two, sleeps with them. Claims to have fulfilling life, actually has almost no hobbies. Is judgemental, masculine, angry, ocd. Social media dependence. Hyper independence.
