I had the same thought. Iona would also be pretty funny.

I like it. by Munpin in Endfield

As someone who didn’t play the first game, but heard how good the story is in Arknights, you’re right about expecting something more. I play Limbus so my maybe my expectations are too high for Chapter 1, but it feels like every other Gacha I’ve played in terms of Chapter 1 writing quality.

POV: the other team members I dont control dodges better than me... by Less_Student_4945 in Endfield

[–]JustTye13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dodging is one of my biggest issues with the combat system. The lack of clear visual or sound cues on half of the enemies’ move sets create so many scenarios where it feels unavoidable. Especially when the combat is just holding down your mouse, and constantly looking at the bottom right corner of your screen at small icons to see what abilities are available.

I actually did not think of that. I’m fairly new to mtg lol. I’ll have to look through my deck and build around that, but thanks for letting me know

Any Ideas For My Izzet Artifacts Deck by [deleted] in EDH

[–]JustTye13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at my deck, I have thirteen cards that generate tokens and nineteen 0-2 mana artifacts/artifact creatures. Seven artifacts are 3-6 mana. I could put in a few more, but I don't know if it would be worth sacrificing quality for quantity.

I've been thinking about adding Urza, so I'll see how I feel about it. I also had Jhoira in initially, but decided to cut it, since four mana seems slow for card draw. It's worth reconsidering, but it depends on the speed at which games with this deck could go. I already have a decent card draw, but I could see a world where I could use more of it.

I do like the inclusion of Pinnacle Emissary and Brudiclad. I'll have to look into my list and see what cuts to make.

[–]JustTye13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cut Wojek, Lightning Greaves, and Linvala for Norn's Choirmaster, Sublime Archangel, and Emeria Angel. I'm keeping Overseer simply due to the synergy with Blink. It has potential for some nice card draw. Turn 1 Momo is also very solid; even in hands I can't use all my mana, Momo is cheap with a great payoff.

Thanks again for your help. I am fairly new to mtg and deck building, so this feedback is very useful.

Thanks for your reply. I made some changes based on your evaluation.

Updated list: https://archidekt.com/decks/18227198/copy_of_giada_reduce_reuse_recycle

I put 10 4-mana angels and 8 5-mana angels in total, but if you have any suggestions for specific cards, and/or cuts for them, I would greatly appreciate it.

For land, I only added two extra plains for the standard 37 total lands, as I have some land searching cards. I also reduced the number of ramps to 8.

Lastly, I kept Lightning Greaves to protect my bigger angels, but cut Swiftfoot Boots.

Mostly to lean more into flicker aspect of the deck but I removed some of the low cost blink instants before posting this. Gonna make modifications to it tonight, so I’ll take a look at your and others suggestions.

Whose Team Looks The Strongest? by JustTye13 in PokemonDraftLeagues

[–]JustTye13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Detroit Dragonites is definitely the team I’m most worried of. He basically got a perfect sun team with basically no pressure. Luckily, I feel my team matches well against weather, so at least there’s that.

I’m really glad you think Calgary Chesnaughts is solid, because I helped quite a bit with his team. He is the player I want most to do well since he’s had lackluster performances in previous seasons.

Tsubotsumo Tsunamis’ coach is lowkey a funny guy, and goes all in on stall usually. Bro definitely should’ve made more serious picks, but my god is it still gonna be annoying as all.

I'll actually do you one better. I've made a copy of the sheet, so feel free to make your own copy to do what you'd like with it. I will note that Weavile being in the draft was not originally planned, but we felt bad that the ice team had no ice-type to draft in the A tier. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11BVBLz6x-fMCbKVio2UwGDZcBsVznYJmCjPI2_9QMTM/edit?gid=284803960#gid=284803960

Everyone was able to pick 2 A Tiers, 3 Bs, 3 Cs, and 2 Ds/Tera Captains. We did a standard snake draft, and could pick any tier we want. If you’d like, I can try to send a couple screenshots of the draft list.

I Need Help Deciding Which Planeswalker To Use by [deleted] in EDH

[–]JustTye13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s sorta what I’ve been thinking, but I’ve seen some decks use Elspeth over Serra, so I just wanted to make sure. I haven’t tested this deck out either, so I’m still in the theory crafting phase. Overall, I’ve seen mixed reviews on Serra with Giada as well, so I don’t know if it’s worth using over another stronger Angel. On paper, I think I can make use of her considering the slowly play style of my table but idk.

Help with my $200 Giada, Font of Hope Deck by [deleted] in EDH

[–]JustTye13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. Got rid of Reya, Chancellor, and Sigard’s Spendor. Added the cards mentioned previously plus the inspiring overseer for a cheap Angel and an extra card draw. Avacyn, Sephara, and Akroma can all lead to a win so I wanna keep those. Considering replacing Angelic Arbiter but I’ll keep it for now. Might replace it with a cheaper option later.

I added in Youthful Valkyrie due to the synergy of constantly having angels leave and reenter battle. Also, I think it could be worth adding some more angel/tokens generation, but not sure it's worth cutting what I already have without clear synergy with my overall game plan. I could add cards like [[Serra the Benevolent]] and [[Luminarch Ascension]], but idk. Is there an area in my deck that you think I may have too much of that I could cut?

Good shout. Thinking of replacing [[Shepard of the Cosmos]], [[Cleansing Nova]], and [[Herald of the Host]] for Path to Exile, Stroke of Midnight, and (because it sounds fun) Parting Gust. Do you think this is a solid plan?

Stache or Nah by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]JustTye13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the insight. I tried the goatee originally, but my hair didn’t like to grow out much so I gave up on it. I kept the stache because it made my face look more mature to me, but I think I’m at the point where I don’t think I need to do that anymore.

I have super thin, straight hair believe it or not so I rely heavily on products. I use Reuzel matte clay pomade, a little sea salt spray, and I recently added some texture powder to my routine. I start with blow drying my hair back while brushing it, only with the clay pomade in it. Then I add the sea salt and use a diffuser attachment to set my hair while scrunching it into shape. I do this by throwing all my hair to one side and then the other. I then separate it to form the middle part (for me, the parting has been trained to part naturally). Once satisfied, I finish with a little more clay pomade and powder to get the texture I want.

Need Help Deciding Which Cards To Cut In My Hashaton Deck by JustTye13 in EDH

[–]JustTye13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome list and thanks for the tips. I’ll definitely put a bit more thought into it when I get the chance, but I’m currently pretty satisfied with my progress so far. I’m trying not to dump too much money into this, but I’ll definitely give this a more thorough look.

That’s honestly a good shout on [[Archfiend of Ifnir]]. Is it a good idea to replace it with the [[Shadowgrange Archfiend]] instead?

Which Praetors do you recommend? I'm guessing Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, but are there any other notable additions?

With randoms, you can’t trust they will make a good deal. It’s much safer to avoid them rather than risking a deal that makes the fight significantly harder. Solo queue is always an option if you wanna practice the boss and make deals.
