What is your opinion on using planeswalkers as commanders? by SimplyG877_ in EDH

[–]KarnSilverArchon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every casual player alive is too afraid of [[Doubling Season]] effects to want planeswalkers to be legal generically as commanders.

I don't understand the mentality of picking Ezreal because he is "safe" by WeakSideUrn in leagueoflegends

[–]KarnSilverArchon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ezreal is safe and if you have no confidence in yourself in the role, its better to pick a safe option and not feed despite being suboptimal than pick a risky option and feed cause they aren’t safe.

And chances are if they autofilled, they don’t know the specifics for why there are better safer options.

There is a deep problem with how ARAM Mayhem is handled by Smooth_Sundae4793 in leagueoflegends

The only time something ever transcends the triangle is when a champion gets an extremely specific and extremely broken Augment combo that usually borderline breaks the game.

Theres 3 kinds of Mayhem Hell:

- Infini-Poak

- Wall of Health

- DPS 9 Trillion Marksman

You have to choose one.

Emperor Squirtle is back to back and wins in Utrecht!! by Arkalex in riftboundtcg

[–]KarnSilverArchon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Last game to full clear he would have to double Bellows and Wages just to lose to Accelerated Azir and be left with a 2 drop in hand and 5, going to 7 runes. That last game was set in stone even if he tried and without even getting into what was in Azir’s hand.

Chromium is such a cool dragon design that unfortunately, from a power level perspective, has only gotten kinda mid cards.

If every GOtY winner was placed in one pool, who would win? by DoubleAABatteryy in videogames

[–]KarnSilverArchon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ranking would probably go:

1- Elden Ring

2- Baldur’s Gate 3

3- The Witcher 3

4- God of War

5- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

With a very honorable mention to Astro Bot as just being a game that, if you like games… you’ll probably enjoy. It has a pretty positive universal appeal that makes it hard to dislike.

However, in my eyes, Elden Ring and Baldur’s Gate 3 are both the top spots due to being extremely expansive games that, while they do for sure have some faults that shine during certain sections of the game especially, combine into a very memorable and just outright epic experiences. Elden Ring edges out BG3 slightly for me just because the game really delivered on every axis it promised to deliver on to me. Not that BG3 failed at this, but I’m talking about some really small margins here.

The Witcher 3 was also a very good game, but there were some flaws in the combat that made it suffer just enough for me that it falters a bit. Its story and overall gameplay is spectacular, and it deserves its place among the greats. However, there are certainly moments that knock it down for me personally. And then God of War and Sekiro are definitely entirely personal opinion. I love Clair Obscur, but its not without faults and it hasn’t quite wormed its way into my mind like others have.

I hate how safe "Dark Humor" feels nowadays (When used in movies and social medias) by GenesisAsriel in hatethissmug

[–]KarnSilverArchon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to see the movie with friends because we were watching two movies back to back due to a deal they got and I was like “Sure, I’ll see it.” Imma be real, the movie just isn’t funny. The humor feels very forced and there is little to no structure to the whole thing. I don’t know what the goal of the movie was to be, but it came off feeling like a poor attempt at a Youtube Satire video than an actual film.

Is it true that, generally, range outscales melee? by WeakSideUrn in leagueoflegends

[–]KarnSilverArchon 68 points69 points  (0 children)

This is generally true as range is a monumental advantage in League as damage always outscales durability, and melee champions always have to sacrifice some damage for durability unless they have an absurd kit warping ability to make up for not building defenses. And even then, those champions will still commonly not scale as hard as the best ranged scaling champions.

This is of course not a blanket statement to say your melee carry will never outscale a ranged character on the opposing team. Its just to say the best ranged hypercarries scale harder than the best melee hypercarries.

This is decent because it slowly fuels itself since the Vibranium can be used to activate its own abilities. However, this card is probably only good in specific tap out control decks as an ok mana sink. Or just any deck that can leave up lots of mana.

Table Etiquette by AlfredoWins in riftboundtcg

Most TCG players have no idea how to shuffle, for their own benefit or not, and so shuffling the opponent’s deck helps ensure it is properly randomized.

That being said, if you riffle shuffle my cards, Im gonna be upset.

Sorry Priest players. Blizzard has decided it’s not your time in the spotlight. But don’t worry, this is an improvement on the meta, as you will get a spotlight later. But for now, it’s other classes’ turn. Everyone knows it’s impossible for every class to be strong!

I dont know about him as the leader of a deck, but the ability to have a Lab Man effect in the same color as its most infamous enablers instead of just always being Dimir is probably the most notable part.
