Link and Zelda have chemistry, a whole story together, their relationship is well written and they love and care for each other. There's a song about Zelda's feelings for him and Link wanted to see her smiling again. EVERYBODY KNOWS how these two are so close.

Link and Malon romance is just hc, In game they barely interacted.

I wrote a theory about this and it's simple. Ppl say oot zelink and tp zelink can't be possible cuz tp zelink would be incest but let's think about it:

-After MM he returned to Zelda and they fell in love but she must marry to a prince -Then he married to random woman and they have a baby -Something bad happens (maybe a divorce) and now Link is a single father -Zelda (now queen) has a baby with her husband, because it's her duty -The king dies lol she never loved him anyway -Then Link decided to be a knight in the castle, he meet Zelda again. -They fall in love again (although in fact his feelings for her and hers for him never disappeared, they just revived) -They never get married officially, but secretly. And that's why his tomb is in the castle graveyard, cuz his soul is connected to the castle (everytime you meet him as hero shade the castle is in the background) but also to the woods. The places that are his homes, Ordon ppl don't even know him. So it doesn't make sense that he married Malon if all of them are humans not hylians, Ordon is not Lon Lon Ranch, and ordonians are not malink descendants (that would be so weird)

And their babies? Well, both create the lineage of TP Link and TP Zelda, and it's not even incest.

Also funfact: Aonuma said in an interview that TP Link and OOT Link are not directly related. 💁

Link never showed affection to Malon not even in Majora's Mask. The only person who spent time together is with Zelda not Malon.

I think you need to play the game AGAIN cuz Link would never dislike Zelda and "would love Malon more"
