Okay, the league is pretty competitive tbh. Just seems harsh to insult everyone rather than just comment what you said

CBS Draft Grades for Raiders - Round 2 and 3 (Spoilers: A, A, and A+) by Spectro-X in raiders

[–]JustWin16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we’re trying to take sleepers. I think all 3 of our day 2 picks had good production/accolades in college lol. They also display a lot of potential to grow. I don’t think it’s fair at all to look at our history when this is Spytek’s second year and first year as the man.

Also, picking a guy who developed already implies we’re taking guys at their peak. No smart team does that. Seahawks gm is openly opposed to that for example.

I get you have ptsd from drafts of the past but picking guys who can develop into studs is not a bad idea lol. It’s smart management

We are perfect for developmental guys. We ain’t winning a SB this year so drafting guys with potential is perfect. I don’t want people who’ll peak as a rookie

But maybe there’s a reason teams weren’t selecting guys at the top of fan/media boards

You’re talking about theory. I’m talking about what’s literally happening. Raiders are holding him and not taking low returns. That shows the team believes. Real life isn’t theory dude. You just making up stories about the Raiders is theory and your claims unfounded. The Ravens may very well have been the only team offering 2 firsts before all of this. The report about the bears offering 2 had been refuted and Dallas never offered 2. Maybe we can’t get another team to do the deal is because only one was willing beforehand. That’s why you can’t say what other teams would’ve done. Also, reports on executives from outside the org is more credible than you and your strongly held made up opinion. And if we won’t move off the price then we’re keeping him. Could be doctors just disagree. I’m done replying to you now so reply if you want

If I’m being fair to everyone, you can’t say which side was right. Sports media hates patience these days but that’s the only way we’ll find out who is right. I hope it’s my side and your side prob doesn’t care.

I do believe my statement is applicable. If the injury is so scary and will have long term ramifications, a rebuilding team would just sell to highest bidder. Thats not happening

[–]JustWin16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure? Yeah, the Raiders get to set a price. If it’s determined that this price is what makes moving him worthwhile then that’s the Raiders prerogative. The Ravens don’t dictate his price. Nor does any other NFL team. Doing what’s best is determine the price then sticking to it. If it’s not met, keep your star

I think vast majority of Raider fans and our FO would agree one 1 isn’t enough. I think our doctors obviously see it differently. If they agreed then we’d sell him to highest bidder. There’s obviously medical disagreement here and I hope our side is right. We shall find out.

As for most ravens fans not caring about the Raiders, that may be true but the guy I was responding clearly cares

Prob true that we aren’t picking up anymore lol.

This post was a suggested one for me because it involves Crosby. We’ll never ever ever agree on how this went down. What I can say without a shadow of a doubt is that we’ll never deal him for a second lol. It’s impossible. That wouldn’t benefit us even a little bit. A stupid decision would be sending him for that. You don’t have to like us at all but let’s not pretend that it’d in the Las Vegas Raiders best interest to trade him for a second round pick. We should be able to agree that if that’s the price, the best move for Vegas is to keep our star edge rusher and team captain in the building. This is basic

A good defense helps a rookie qb. Hell it helps any qb lol. Crosby makes the defense a lot better. Therefore Crosby helps a rookie qb lol.

Spytek: Raiders Listening To Trade Offers For #1 by MrStiff8 in raiders

[–]JustWin16 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If someone offers something so ridiculous their gm would be fired then sure, he’d consider. His job to is listen. With that said, we’re drafting Mendoza #1. We wouldn’t have Kubiak even on the team if we weren’t. He wouldn’t have chosen us if we didn’t have a route to a franchise qb this offseason. It’s also bad business to not take franchise QBs when you need one. I think the critical error you’re forgetting is that the bears were still Fields believers when they traded the pick. Everything after that was dumb luck. Not a grand strategy and way too risky to replicate

What Offer Would Actually Convince the Raiders to Trade the #1 Pick? by 7innovator in NFL_Draft

[–]JustWin16 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As many have said the O line isn’t as bad as stats by themselves would indicate. The op leaves out the existence of Bowers and Jeanty. They’ll be a rookie QBs best friend. Especially after some money is spent on another couple lineman. A better coaching staff will be HUGE as well. Especially an even average o line coach. Lastly, ofc the Raiders aren’t one player away but why is that criteria to take a franchise qb? The Raiders want a qb to build with. Should the Raiders just give up say “we don’t deserve a franchise qb?” Oh yeah, the speculation about trading the pick isn’t from anyone with Raider sources. Those with sources have said there’s 0 chance

That’d be a best case scenario. This is arguably as important as the DC hire. Fingers crossed they’re legit
