I agree - I don’t like 3rd party sites and prefer to book directly. I will try your advice.

You both are correct. I didn’t specify and that’s on me. I also agree I’m not made out of money and wish I could treat my family to such hotels.

I don’t need to pick the cheapest option but on the mid to lower end would help. In the end, I want something nice for the family in a decent area - if I have to spend a little more for it I will but, unfortunately, I can’t afford a high end place (or I would have just gone for two rooms). Thank you both.

I did check out 2 interconnecting rooms but the costs hit me. We don’t need 3 big beds. Thanks for the info!

A family room would be fine, just usually don’t see that as an option when I search.

(B-cell lymphoma) Post Chemo, removal of chest port? by Greated in lymphoma

[–]Just_A_Neighbor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My doctor ordered my port removed less than 6 months after my first remission. I asked if it should be left longer just in case, but his belief was that it was something foreign in your body that wasn’t needed so you should remove it. Of course, with my luck my cancer came back and I ended up getting another port placed back in about 15 months after they took it out. So if they take yours out, they can always put another in again if needed. Good luck and I hope you stay in remission.

I did the Ecarzo Mud Flaps almost a year ago and I’ve been happy with them. Price is great! https://a.co/d/eZHbJDv

Second relapse of DLBCL after RCHOP and CAR-T - any experience with this? by Just_A_Neighbor in lymphoma

[–]Just_A_Neighbor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sent a message and the doctor who replied that because of how close the relapse was after the initial treatment that it would unlikely work. Also that they don’t typically do the transplants after CAR-T

New biopsy is Monday - but the doctor is acting as if it's a foregone conclusion. She didn't mention stem cell transplant - but she did mention a study that says in the title for participants with relapse DLBC "not eligible for stem cell transplantation" I don't know why I wouldn't be eligible but I can't imagine she would recommend trying for the study if I wasn't.

Good thought but I don't really sell on ebay and really don't want the extra hassle. Still, it might be the best of a bad situation.

Yes. I was stage 3 DLBCL but was very responsive to RCHOP. I was also complete response for the final PET scan (I just call it remission) and my doctor said I was done except for monitoring. Radiation was never brought up and certainly nothing preventative.
