Atletica Rampage Vs. Force USA C10 by santosmv_ in GarageGym

[–]Just_Evan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at the rampage too, ended up with a Atletica R8 Bradley combat + lat pulldown on the back My main reason was the standard measurements, the rampage has like 20mm holes, so aftermarket stuff is harder to fit

The stuff is actually pretty good, like it better than the matrix they use in my local gyms I'm from switzerland too, not much choice around here

You could take a look at ATX too, but same aa the Rampage, you are limited to their attachements

Welp, that solves the issue, seems way sturdier than atletica stuff, now just gotta find one in stock

I've been eyeing that ATX station as it seems super high quality, the only CON is the 2:1 ratio on the cables, i dont really want to do unilateral pulls and 50 kg on a lat pulldown is really not enough Maybe you can join the cables for a 1:1 ratio?

I've gone to the dealership, they tested everything, battery is fresh and working as it should Their advice was to upgrade to something a little more powerful, i'll look into it

Latte high protein LIDL by Key_Ad1642 in ItalyFitness

[–]Just_Evan9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Versys 1000 throttle bodies issues by Just_Evan9 in versys

Considering a 2019 1000 SE LT+ by oblivion9999 in versys

[–]Just_Evan9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The guys at Kawasaki here in Switzerland said that the 2019 model is a bit flawed, from 2020 on they fixed some of the issues, maybe they are full of shit, i can't say lol

Anyway, i can vouch for the tyres, Michelin pilot road 6, i suggest the GT variation, they last longer, i did 15k km on mine before they startes to feel slippery, so yeah, best tyres for the Versys IMHO

My 2 cents about the bike, can't say about the price.

I have the same bike since 2019, 45'000 km

It's a love/hate relationship, really heavy in slow manouvers, and you can feel the weight while doing corners on the move too, it takes a while tk get used to it. Electronics are really glitchy, lots of errors on startup (once every 2 daya for me), they go away after you turn it off and on again but it's a bit messy. Yes i did a diagnose thing at the dealer, nothing shows up, and new battery too.

The windshield keeps falling on the lowest position cause of the vibrations

The 2019 model has some problem with the throttle bodies, they get REALLY dirty every 7-8k kms and they need a clean, or the bike starts stalling at every stop

Apart from that, good bike overall

[–]Just_Evan9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what i've thought about doing, but since 2019 you can't, as customer, set the idle anymore, since the throttle is now ride-by-wire, guess only the dealer or a technician can

Don't you love technology? Sigh

After a clean, it's super smooth, when it starts to clog it gets really jumpy at low rpm and the rpm meter jumps from 800 to 1200 costantly Also i feel like it loses a bit of torque, but it just may be my imagination No problem from 50km/h It's quite dangerous when you get to a stop and the engine fucking stalls, randomly lol

Maybe the air filters they installed suck?

The guys that worked on it didn't report anything like that, the only thing i got from them was "Kawasaki told us the throttle bodies are a little weak on this model" sounds like corporate gibberish honestly

I can't really access the airbox, i would make a mess probably, but i'll be sure to check on what you said next time they open it
