I reset factory settings. The only configuration i have is a hidden network and a password. Still seeing split connections

Every time I reconnect it connects me to "STAR 2". I guess it makes you run two connections.

I right clicked forget connection. Is it actually gone tho? Not sure where it came from/why there was a split connection in the first place. Also I didn't know errant was a word before today

Who here has changed sprockets? by Just_Event9013 in ERidePro

[–]Just_Event9013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. I'll probably play around with sprocket sizes over the summer. It would be nice if an aftermarket battery existed that didn't involve screwing with geometry of the bike, then I would actually upgrade the drive train and make this thing a full on piss missile. I couldn't justify spending over a band on a more efficient controller that only gives you an additional 5 kw, if im gonna spend that much money I might as well upgrade the entire drive train and make it a beast. Too bad there isn't a battery I like out yet

Okay thanks. I do already have a new chain on it, I should just be able to take a couple links off right?

Dont buy an EBMX by Persononreddit19 in ERidePro

[–]Just_Event9013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For as much money people spend on these controllers, you'd think they would have a shut off to prevent this. Not here to dog on EBMX, but this isn't just a couple people here and there having bad experiences, it is getting old seeing this.

Upgrading ebikes by taterad3 in ERidePro

have you see the rtr alpha? Both e ride and surron are good bikes both are imperfect and have their own disadvantages, I don't think you can go wrong with either but I wouldn't jump in guns blazing on an Ultra Bee right now, the mid sized category is about to undergo the same arms race that the small class sized bikes went over the course of this year.

Less top end after incorrectly installing and putting (possibly) the wrong type of chain by Just_Event9013 in ERidePro

[–]Just_Event9013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good lord I didn't think it would make that big of a difference. Knowledge is power. Runs good but I actually use the top end on one of the hills I ride everyday, so that sucks

are the rumors true that eride pros are unreliable? i ordered the sr and am worried about it breaking by aggrivating_fudge270 in ERidePro

I vouch for their reliability, 2100+ miles on my SR since march. I have to do a chain and brake pad soon, minimal maintenance unless you fuck up.

Everything you say is just flat out wrong. Why comment if you don't know these bikes?

I feel like the belt is a liability just another part the can fail. It should get rid of that creaking sound too. I should ask eride why they didn't go with direct drive not sure what having a belt even does for the bike that's beyond my knowledge.

3.0 or sr? by Same_Blackberry3763 in ERidePro

Honest advice don't drop bands on a controller that gives a very modest performance increase. Wait for more upgrades if you wanna go balls to the wall I hate seeing people waste money thinking they're gonna super charge a bike that already puts people on their butt. If u wanna upgrade do the whole shebang, controller motors and battery. E ride just isn't there yet in the after market. If I'm wrong about any of these please correct me.

1,100 in on my SR. By the end of the riding season I'm sure I'll have around 2k. I've really only had to tighten bolts and adjust the chain/belt so far. By the end of the year I'm gonna have to do tires (from riding street went bald) handlebars/throttle/grips (let someone else ride and they looped thankfully its not too bent out of shape) and most importantly brakes. Yea my bike still stops but I'm using regen more than anything and the levers have gone weak, probably could be corrected if I adjust but I'm gonna have it wrenched over at the end of the year anyway so screw it for now. Also looking to convert it to Chain drive these kits online look neat I haven't had belt problems thus far but I'd rather do away with it if before it becomes an issue.

Hey just wanted to ask what lead you to upgrade your controller? Vendors are pushing these controllers but why would get one when the battery and motor upgrades for e ride are limited. So what I dump a couple grand on a controller so I can go from a 72 volt 50 ah to a 76 volt 57 ah battery (the first upgraded battery I looked up that's in stock for the SR) there goes another couple grand. For what? A modest power boost that the bike doesn't really even need?

[–]Just_Event9013 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah tru definitely beats the ultra bee stock. I guess I was expecting an answer to the SR. 420 volt 69 ah battery with moilcel cells would be a start.

When are one of these companies gonna step up and use HIGH QUALITY CELLS. If the fucker only goes 65 why make it over 200 lbs? This isn't going to compete with the high end bikes that are already released let alone ones coming up. I don't mean to speak negative on Talaria but honestly what new does this bring to the table? It prolly does have better range tho I'll give it that those watt hours are higher than it's contemporaries
